Not yet, but it's getting there. We've come to the point where it can be treated and taken care of if you find it early enough.

Cancer will never be cured. The cancer research charities would lose too much money.

There has been a cure for cancer, the government just never released it because if people were cured, they wouldn't make money.

That kale smoothy might help your body fight cancer, but it could also kill you due to a protein deficiency. Oh, and you'd be shitting yourself almost constantly the whole time you were dying. SO you'd have that going for you, which is nice.

"shitting yourself"...what? lol

are you saying that we would die without meat? Kale is a good source of protein and fiber, wheatgrass is another super plant that almost everybody hate because of the taste.

I follow a vegan couple, they are in great shape and excellent health because they eat only raw veggies, no diary, no meat, or any of that processed garbage. Compared that with people who eat all that garbage and they most likely suffer from something (diabetes, cholesterol, depression etc) or are overweight.

People don't do it because it is not easy, especially if you follow what the book says. It requires a lot of will power to drink only natural green juice for 3 months. I tried it for a week and I saw great improvement in my skin, state of mind and bowel movement. I couldn't continue it because of work (the book says that you shouldn't work a lot while doing that green juice cleanse ) but I will definitely do it in a few months because I work from home now. If you haven't tried it don't disregard it.

Well:

http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/vegetables-and-vegetable-products/2461/2 - You're right. Kale has a whopping 4% of your daily requirement of protein. People must be lining up to get kale-protein shakes. No more Whey! No more Rice protein! Kale will save us! (that was sarcasm, by the way).

By contrast, http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/nut-and-seed-products/3125/2 ONE serving of nuts has 47% of the necessary daily protein intake.

And you really will be shitting constantly http://www.livestrong.com/article/549791-dangers-of-juicing-with-too-much-kale/ which can lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalances.

Also, kale has negligible amounts of vitamin D. It isn't even listed on the form. So http://bryanking.net/rickets/ ENJOY your rickets!

Idiots have tried super-vegging for a lot of things, and it often ends poorly: http://www.omgfacts.com/lists/4882/In-1974-a-British-health-nut-drank-himself-to-death-with-carrot-juice and http://www.nbcnews.com/id/18574603/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/t/vegan-couple-sentenced-life-over-babys-death/#.VPhhQS4mK9E and http://johnrlott.blogspot.com/2013/05/vegan-diet-for-mom-kills-11-month-old.html . There are plenty more examples if you look.

YES, people CAN live well as vegetarians, but they MUST have the right balance to meet nutritional requirements. NO, people CANNOT live on kale juice -- or any all-green juice diet -- for any length of time. Humans are an omnivorous species by nature (We have the predatory eyes, the sharp front teeth, the intelligence, the pack instinct, the stamina and the digestive system) and we require balanced nutrition. Eating meat as well as veg is the simplest way to get that nutrition. Without proper planing and variety, an all vegetarian/vegan diet can be deadly. Vegetarians require the appropriate balance of nuts, legumes, grains and fruits to make up for the things that leafy greens alone lack.

Yes, veggies are good for you. Yes people can live quite well as vegetarians IF they eat the proper combinations of foods to provide for their nutritional needs. But claiming that starving yourself of vital nutrients by going on a months-long kale binge will cure cancer is just as stupid and pseudo-scientific as claiming that mercury will cure syphilis and grant immortality.

Please stop spreading such a stupid rumor. You could get someone killed if they took you seriously.

Donation for awareness vs donation for cure?

Susan G Komen?

Making people run?

Buying products, percentage goes to cancer research?

Pink-washed?

Coming from Someone in the Medical Field...We're getting CLOSER. I'd say, maybe 60-65% of improving dramatic Outcomes. WILL We eventually? YES. Of that, I am 100% positive.

Let's all be real. Curing cancer will take a long time to develop. Why. Because our bodies, yes everyone, has Cancer cells already in your bodies. Our body kills off those Cancer cells, however those who have Cancer is due to their own bodies not able to fight those cancer cells. So developing a cure is tricky, because you're trying to find how to eliminate cancer without disrupting the human body. How can you cure cancer when our bodies naturally produce them.
I do hope someone does find a way, but realistically speaking it will be a difficult path, and still is.

There's a cure for Aids and all those things (Countries don't wanna admit it like the fact aliens exist) but cancer's only cure is maintaining a healthy weight, not drinking too much alcohol, eating plenty of vegetables, fruits and whole grains, being vaccinated against certain infectious diseases, not eating too much red meat, and avoiding too much exposure to sunlight.

Yes, because this thread has cured my cancer.

In all honesty, I'm pretty sure I've heard of people curing their cancer.

No sarcasm / cruelty intended to the forum question, but asking if cancer has been cured is a very, very, VERY generalized, blanket question.

Unfortunately, the question has some semantic arguments imbued within...what do you mean by cured? what type of cancer? what population of people?
