HD Streaming comes to Android! Finally! Any plans to support Android TV in the future?

Well since they already have Chromecast support, Android TV is automatically already supported.

:( I don't own any gaming consoles.... What about an app for blueray players?

If you have a smartphone, you can get a Chromecast for $30 and use it to cast to a big screen television.

Glad to see Crunchyroll continuing with their updates. I'd love to see an Amazon Fire TV app. Plus a much needed fix to the ps3 app, it always gets chaotic when I Fast-forward or Rewind, I'm usually having to restart the entire Anime and getting back to where I was. Ps4 app works great, however it ends too quickly towards the ending credits and I always like to listen to ending credits and watch any shows "next time on...".

Just tested a single ep of Shirobako on my Nexus 7 LTE on Verizon, and I got a total of around 320 MB downloaded for that single ep. From that, I can tell we're only getting the 720p stream. I even tried off WiFi on a Sony Xperia Z, and I only used around 320 MB. As someone with unlimited data, this is disappointing, since I know I can get and maintain the speeds needed for the 1080p stream.

You guys need to update your crappy iOS app that doesn't even support 480p videos, also you should include a quality button so that the quality won't skip by itself. It's very sad that iOS is being left behind by the other platforms.

I have since cancelled my subscription.. For three years they had promised Android HD apps and Google TV apps. Now they have delivered on one but not the other... I have 2 google tv boxes that are used daily but alas crunchy roll is no longer on them. I see no reason to support a company that has not lived up to its word... I feel 3 years was patient enough.

Did they truly "promise" them or only say they were planned? There is a difference.
