How much money is "enough money" for you?

Enough money for me is enough money to get people close to me to shut up about wanting this and that, which is- who knows??

As for myself I've already got enough money (only for myself, not enough for people around me, which translates to NOT ENOUGH MONEY)

Well I would think enough to pay the bills, buy decent food and a couple hundred for entertainment purposes or just to save.

One million a year at least. There's a lot of nice things I want to buy... But I guess to live maybe $500K a year. I don't know how money works exactly.

I wanted a brand new Ferrari, until I thought about how I would have to spend money to maintain that Ferrari, buy gas for the Ferrari, and then buy all the security cameras for the Ferrari, and get it on to the track and buy track tires just to not waste the Ferrari.

That was when I decided I don't want a Ferrari.

I want a honda coupe. lol. Nothing fancy. I could actually afford one now, I just think it'd be more wise to wait a little longer. Damn myself for thinking things through.

10^(10^100) should just about cover it

Edit: Yes I realize there is not enough matter in the universe to print it, I'll borrow from parallels if I must.

Without including it in my taxes, maybe $50m. That gives me around $1m living expenses per year for the rest of my life, and still be able to give back to my parents. Living on $1m per year is more than enough for me since I don't even think I'll ever spend more than $1m each year, unless I'm an idiot and buys so many supercars everyday.

Money is like a dirty snowball. Sometimes it takes money to make money, sometimes it takes more money to just live with what you got with more money.

If you buy a big house in an expensive area, you keep paying more and more and more property tax (cities and towns love rich people). Property tax gets so ridiculous in some areas you've got to save up to pay that (not including house payments, that's separate. Oh, and all that stupid insurance)

Wouldn't really know exact amounts, but enough that I can live comfortably with no debts, and never have to worry about working for the rest of my life, while still being able to buy whatever luxury goods/services I want. So probably a hell of a lot of money.

But for starters, $1m per year would probably be enough for now.

Live at poverty level and $50k a year sounds like a dream. Then when you get that much your expenses increase and you want more. This cycle repeats until money becomes meaningless, ie Dubai. That being said, ~$10million would set me for the rest of my life.

except when you start going down that road, you want more things. especially since it opens up a new tier of spending.

for myself? a solid 50k would be enough. i could pay off my debt and invest the rest. i am quite happy with what i have and who i am as a person. if only just to have that money for security should i fall on hard times, thats enough for me
