Enough money to never have to care about the opinion of another human being, would be enough.

$50k/year would be more than enough to cover expenses and have enough to save for retirement. I'd also like to have enough set aside to cover expenses for a couple of months should I find myself with unexpected expenses/loss of employment.

250k yearly would be just enough as a minimum because income inequality is growing and I don't want to be stuck in the bottom. That would also allow me to splurge on consumer goods more often and steadily pay off debts incurred. But I hope to have enough money one day to back political parties and influence the government.

I would be happy with a hundred thousand. If I had a million I would get lazy and wouldn't work or study or do anything. A hundred thousand would allow me to chart a course for myself without too much burden.

Enough to pay the bills with a bit left over for myself and any others close to me, like my family.

Depends on what the woman wants. Ballpark estimate...lets say 500k as a starting point I think to get noticed. Then around 100k increase for each base. I'll ask my married friends how much they would have to lose for their wives to leave them.

If you plan to have a divorce from the beginning then why even get married

I might be a fun-loving anime / manga and video game fan, but I am deadly serious when it comes to money.

"Enough" means being able to pay the bills. In full. On time. Every time. And then have enough for a long-term savings plan. Remember: You will not always be in the work force, you will not always be making money, and disaster can always befall you. Be prepared. Make money now for the times when you know it will not be readily available.

Once you have done that? Then you can use a little money to have fun.

A million per month is enough. Enough to buy food, clothes, housing. Also enough to splurge on myself/friends.

Pretty much what I get now is more than enough — £500 a week is an alright way to live.

What I make right now is enough. I have food, kids, a house and a car. It is enough to cover what I need, and gives me what I want once in a while. Which is more than I deserve.

It's all relative to where you live. In Seattle 100K is middle class. In Wyoming it's wealthy. In New York it's poor (I think, never lived in NY)
