Want to chit chat with members of the group? Do it here. Whatever you may want to chit chat on - let's go forth and have a discussion. Doesn't have to be deep. Doesn't have to be a detailed assessment of scripture. Just - let's chat!

So, I'll start - How's your day going?

I haven't seen Digimon in a while. My kids occasionally watch it, but they're hit or miss on whether or not they like it. They're like that with a lot of things I've found. One day like it, next day dislike it.

I saw a debate on the legalization of marijuana YEARS ago with a former DEA agent and a marijuana activist. It was...lame. I came in with an open mind, no one was able to make a persuasive argument. Both of their arguments were weak, I who don't know the first thing about debating could have ripped them all apart!

I saw Se7en and Fight Club for the first time. I really enjoyed those movies. At first I was iffy on Se7en, but after I let it set in for a couple days I realized that I did enjoy the movie quite a bit. I just absolutely adored Fight Club yeah it's a rough movie, but just the sheer weirdness from it and the witty dialogue made it an enjoyable film for me. I also really love the characters in Fight Club.

I just finished watching the original Left Behind. I still do not like the movie at all, but it's far better than the remake with Nicholas Cage. My main problem with both versions is the characters as to me they have no redeeming qualities at all. They are also uninteresting and I really could care less about them. To me this a major issue especially when telling a story such as Left Behind. With an End of the World story I should at least care enough about the characters to want them to be okay. I don't care at all about the characters in the Left Behind movies as they have no personality or emotion to them. It's just like they are there and that's it. There are other issues I have with the movie, but I'm a big character guy so that is always want can make or break something for me.

Trust me the Left Behind movies aren't worth your time. I've heard the books are better, so I may read them one day. I love the premise, but the movies handled it completely wrong.

My mother read some of the books, she said they were so-so.

Been pretty busy. I have 2 churches looking at me for some Ministry opportunities in the Youth department so I am doing well! Also since I saw the movie post, I just saw Do you believe? and it was awesome! I think it is one of if not the best recent Christian movies!
