What type of home would be your ideal one?

For me a mixture of Modern and Traditional Japanese home with Tatami Mats and Soji screen doors for one part.

For the other a regular modern style anime house. Rooms would include a game room/bar, Meditation/Reading Room 2-3 bedrooms with a full kitchen. Somewhere close to a city but far enough away that there aren't many people around.

I wouldn't mind some Tarzan ropes.

Well so far, I've only lived out in the middle of no where in the country. And i hate it, so i think a place in a big town or city around plenty of stuff to do, big or small, i don't care. I think the noise of the city would be refreshing from being secluded for so long.

Mine. As in the One I Own already. With PLENTY of help from My Rich Mother's side's Relatives. It's HUGE; MUCH too big for Myself Alone as I am. But, It's a wonderful House...

Hm, an ideal home that I can create to my exact specifications?

1. Three stories above ground and three stories underground. The lowermost level will have a wide expanded area that juts out into the sea, by which the house will be located. So you can go to the bottom floor and go into that area to gaze into the water.

2. I like the idea of a traditional Japanese home. The above-ground levels will be built that way, complete with a central courtyard/garden. Of course, there will be lots of nice vegetation, a nice pond, and a little red bridge and little stone buildings and statues. There will be lots of sliding screen doors. The front entrance will look like a shrine, complete with an offering box and a bell that you must ring so I can answer the door. There will be a water well in the front as well.

There will be a two red torii gates, one at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the house, and one at the top. The house will be surrounded by bamboo and trees and flowering shrubs and stuff. The backyard will be full of grave markers and more stone structures and statues, shaded by trees, with a view of the sea. There will be an empty well here that contains ladders that snake from secret access points in the underground levels.

3. The top level will have a large, open room on each corner, complete with balconies. Each level will have an outdoor method of access by the means of stairs that run along the walls. There will be a flat area on the roof that can be accessed so I can go up there and lie around doing nothing.

4. The underground levels will be very different. Each room of each level will have its own theme and design. You could be in a modern, sleek environment in one second and in a Victorian style bedroom the next.

5. The first and second underground levels will contain 9 rooms each, of varying size and purpose.

6. The bottom level, with the underwater view, will house a bar, several lounge chairs, a pool table, a sound system, etc. There will also be a fireplace there, with an antique armchair in front of it. The library will also be on the bottom floor.

I'd want the house to be located in a less populated area. I wouldn't want to be in the middle of nowhere, but I don't want to be in a cramped city either.

Oh man, mine would be an oppulent cathedral. Marble floors, golden pillars that are sculpted in my image holding up the ceiling for the entrance hall. Long hallways with suits of armor, stained glass windows. I'd want a dining room with one of those 20 foot long tables and a bunch of chairs. Of course I'd be the only one to eat there. I'd want a library with dark wood paneling and a giant fire place with 2 big comfy armchairs for brooding. The bedroom would also have a massive four post bed with those curtains you can draw around it. I'd also want one japanese style room with tatami mats too. Those things are comfortable.

Partially underwater. Has a slide from the second floor to the first floor. Has one room with walls and floors like in a moon bounce and those colorful balls from Chuck E. Cheese and maybe balloons. Bedrooms and living room have hammocks and swinging chairs. Also, one of these..

Well, that amused me. I'm fine with my current home. Ideally, I would prefer a small, cozy condo for one person that's easy to clean and maintain.
