Atheist, likely haplogroup J1 and R1 dominant, but I'd love to get my genome sequenced and find out for sure.

The last time I had to write a job application that asks 'what ethnicity are you' I didn't know what the word haplogroup meant. My current job doesn't require typical 'applications', it requires word of mouth and a strong resume. My ethnicity would never be brought up.

But since learning how varied human ethnicity is, I find it harder and harder to know what 'race' I am without getting sequenced. My dad's side of the family grew up in Eastern Europe, so likely R1 influence, but they were also semetic, so probably a J1 influence. My mom's side is from the middle east and eastern europe, but wasn't semetic, so R1 from them, and R1b or J1 from living in the middle east.

I'm 'arab', 'caucasian', and 'semetic', but I can only trace those a few generations ago. If I really wanted to know what race I am, and what my genetic history is, I'd need to have my genome tested. For all I know I could have a large N population background, or L population.
