Is their a job or something in the world that you've always wanted to do?If so, do you have that job, taking steps to work in that field, not planning on working your dream job or something else?

Me:Have wanted to become an architect since I was 18 and was always into art. A very slow process, an endless money pit, but also fun and rewarding at the same time. Graduated and earned my 5 year BA in Architecture, work in an office, but i'm flat broke at the moment............ .At least its fun....

I always wanted to be a musician and a pastor, but we'll see where I'll end up later on.

I want to be a doctor. I'm getting closer recently! I wish I had realized that's what I wanted to do sooner... college would have gone so much smoother...

I think I'd really like to be a preservation cataloger one day. Right now I'm working in a related area of the field, and I'll be finishing my graduate degree in a bit over a year. After that, it's a question of finding a job in that particular area. Since it's such a specific job, not that many places have it.

Like anime or CGI? I am interested in that kind of stuff as well, but at more of a hobby level. Mostly because I'm not the best at creating characters .

Since I was a kid, I've always wanted to be in the FBI. It's why I joined the Army and wen't back to school. But some things happened, and now I'm working for a much lamer Gov. Agency. Maybe someday I'll be able to get into the FBI, but if not then oh well, sometimes dreams are just dreams.

My dream is to go down the poultry career path. I would really love to manage a chicken hatchery or breeding facility. I even have hopes of maybe getting into the inspection business somewhere down the road.

This summer I have an internship with Tyson Foods at one of their plants, so I have high hopes for that. I have also gained a lot of experience in the field through my college.

Being retired. I funnel a portion of my income into my 401k, though I really need to get around to setting up an IRA soon as well.

My dream is probably to be a musician. Specifically a violinist - but I want to compose as well.

I've started playing the violin - but it's just a hobby. I'm not very musically inclined, and i'm far more talented in other fields. Because of this, I'm studying to become something completely different from my dream, unfortunately. Or fortunately, depending on how you look at it.

It's caused me to have some interesting thoughts though. Like - if you're talented at something, but you don't like it, should you even bother doing it? What if you're not talented at something but you love it?

'Shrugs" ~ At this point i'm studying hard to get a decent paying job so I can study music in my spare time. I guess those are the steps i'm taking toward my dream.

I'm working towards my dream job. I've got a year left of graduate school before getting my MSW with Type 73 PEL Certification. After that, I'll finally be able to be a school social worker. I've always wanted to work with high school kids who are dealing with depression and anxiety related to socialization, kids who are LGBTQI, especially Transgender, and kids who are using destructive coping mechanisms.

BTW, I love talking to people who are interested in mental health services, anyone who is interested in cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and social justice advocacy. Shoot me a message, I'm a nerd about this stuff

Wanted to be a researcher in the field of science. But decided to become a programmer. Although I probably would have completed my AS in Biology just next year, I changed my major to Computer Science so it'll be a while for me. Probably 2 more years after this before I graduate. Especially since I have to start from scratch by learning most of the coding language.

Well right now I'm studying to be a mechanical engineer...I have 1 more year left till I graduate, I guess my dream job would be someplace where I felt like I am making a difference in society, helping mankind. I know it sounds kinda mushy and stuff but still it would be great to make a difference in the world no matter how small it may be.
