The Pet girl of Sakuraso is great, in my opinion, its up there with Toradora for my favorite romance for the moment
White Album 2 I loved it, I know some people didn't but it is undeniably good

It has some ecchi moments though, but otherwise it is really good. In fact, it is one of my favorites.

It does have its moments, but they arn't really the fanservice kind of ecchi, ala the testament of sister new devil and such.

Yeah, you are diffidently right, it does serve its purpose, to show her incompatibilities in a normal society. Her way of perceiving the world is so different and she not handling problem the same way as others.

http://www.crunchyroll.com/nogizaka-haruka-no-himitsu/episode-1-its-over-534998 Here's my recommendation it's has A Little ecchi but it's an overall good story but the plot twist at the end and the hardships the characters follow , also this was my first anime.

romance is my absolute favorite genre, but almost everything tagged as romance when it comes to anime is some gross ecchi harem bullshit and i'm so tired of that same recycled harem plot line that reappears every season.. where the dark haired lonely highschool boy finds out he has some special ability and is suddenly surrounded by beautiful women who have both the personality of stale bread AND giant tiddies.. it's just eughhghg

even if it's something where the characters like each other and it never goes anywhere (kind of like in fairy tail lmao) what are some good romance stories? i really like ones kind of like kimi ni todoke but i'm very into fantasy stuff too, like maybe inuyasha? idk but all i know is that i need a break from the constant panty shots

thank you in advance, i just don't want to comb through the tagged/romance section of mal for hours to find something to watch

(this is the right place to post this.. right?)

Yea Inuyasha+Inuyasha the Final Act

The Legend of Condor Hero

Victorian Romance Emma

Hanasakeru Seishounen(this is a reverse Harem, but omg don't let that fool you, this anime is awesome as hell, and very serious, It's nothing you would expect from the genre)

Elemental Gelade

then here's some romcoms if you want

Maison Ikkoku

Kachou wa maid sama

Some good recommendations above. I'll second/third/seventieth Toradora.

Here's some other ones on my queue that I enjoyed in no order.
One Week Friends -- adorable high school romance
Kids on the Slope -- several intersecting love triangles surrounded by jazz in the 60s
Kimi ni Todoke -- read the manga for this and its top notch shoujo

We also get tired of the same Harem style romance stories. We enjoyed the following shows and NO they weren't Harem style:

Nagi no Asukara - A Lull in the Sea
The World is Still Beautiful
Ano Natsu de Matteru
Plastic Memeories

Everyone likes different styles so give them a try, at least a few episodes.

Hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

My Love Story super honest and simple but makes you feel good after every episode-he love her she loves him so simple yet no other anime keeps a story line like this kinda refreshing
