I have an Asus tablet with a dockable keyboard, but I mostly use it with the keyboard disconnected while I'm watching videos. My problem, and this is only on Crunchyroll, is exiting fullscreen mode after a video ends. Double-tapping the screen doesn't work, tapping around to pull up the menu doesn't work. I'm just left in fullscreen, and the only buttons I can see are replay and then suggestions for other videos. When I pull up the start menu, if I go back to desktop mode it'll just bring me back to fullscreen mode. What I end up having to do is get up and grab the keyboard dock so I can plug it in just to hit Esc to get out of fullscreen mode.

Am I missing something really obvious here? How do I get out of fullscreen mode on a tablet after the video ends?

Im sorry but there is no exit after the video has ended.
You would need to exit fullscreen right before the Episode ends because the UI disappears at the end of each video.

Probably just a bug Just open a support ticket about this and im sure they will hand this too the developers to fix your problem quickly ^^"

The browser Flash player is designed for desktops and laptops, and likely assumes a keyboard will always be available. This problem would probably not be fixed until a Win8 app is developed and released for CR.

One workaround would be to start another video (which will kick you back out of fullscreen).

Hopefully one of the suggested shows you can pick from will always be one you would never watch, so you don't have to worry about messing up your viewing position. With that said, even if it was, the viewing position isn't constantly recorded, so stopping it or clicking away with perhaps 30 seconds shouldn't affect the recorded viewing position.

It would be nice if CR put an "exit full screen" button among the suggested choices at the end, especially since the second "page" of those suggestions is almost empty.

On my Surface I just swipe up from the bottom of the screen and it goes back to web view. Works just fine. No keyboard is attached. I will mention I'm using the Metro IE for this. Have not tried the desktop version while in touch mode.

you can pop up the on screen keyboard in settings on the charms bar, but only the full keyboard has an esc key
