so the outbreak company dub came out not long ago, and i started watching it.
then i realized, they all are passable to good voice acting, but there is one that sucks, like really sucks.
and i have a hard time watching it.

now a bad dub, like please teacher i can watch and love, cus there all bad.

and a good dub, like cowboy bebop i love, cus there all good.

but a bad and good dub, like heavens lost property, i have a hard time watching.

anyone else?

For me it depends on the mood I'm in. Either or it doesn't really matter lol

I have to say one series I would probably never watch in English and that is the monongatari series. You can't redo the way they speak to each other. I haven't watched it in English but I couldn't imagine watching it with English voices.

I generally stick with subs unless the location or characters are generally suppose to be European/American. So anime like Black Lagoon and Baccano! have to be in dub for me.

I stick with subs, all the time. I cannot stand badly voiced over dubs!

I'm generally pretty tolerant when it comes to bad dubs. There are only I couple I recall ever dropping because they were just that bad, but many dubs I don't even find intolerable. Maybe old kung fu movies made me numb to a level of quality that would annoy other people, but I see dubs as convenient more than anything.

I'm very hesitant of dubs in case I come across dubs like the Rurouni Kenshin Dub or Hunter x Hunter 99's Dub, they make me cringe.

I used to watch English dubs many years ago but I got sick of the overacting and poor casting of voices. Now I can't stand to listen to a second of English dub out of fear that it will spoil the mood of the anime for me.

I used to be a Dub watcher so i have a lot of respect for the english VA's. I hate dubs that keep the Japanese honorifics or changed the names of the characters heavily. Although these days i tend to watch more subs than dubs, only can handle Monica Rial or Wendy Lee so much.

I've long given up on finding a good dubbed anime. Every one I've tried to watch sounds pretty bad.

I prefer subs because Japanese voice actors put in more emotion than MOST American voice actors. I still like dubs but it depends on the cast.

I only watch subs. If I click on it and realize it is dubbed I then stop it and look for the subbed version.
The way they speak with each other and their voices are part of the experience to me. It would be like watching a James Bond movie dubbed over to all Jamaican accents. I don't mind a Jamaican accent but it just wouldn't work as James Bond.

I also agree with the post above mine.

I wouldn't be able to tell you because I stick with the original format it was made in which is usually in Japanese but occasionally if there is something like RWBY that is in English I'll watch it dubbed. I feel like if I were to watch the other version of the original then the way the va's convey their feelings and interpretation would feel different to what was intended.

Depends on which one I come across first. My first dub anime was Outlaw Star and my first sub was Jin Roh "just saw the bought the dvd version and english dub wasn't bad". If I see something dub then I get used to those voices and its a bit weird to go to sub and vice versa
