Apple has unveiled 'smart watches'. There are models starting at $350, with some watches costing over $500 and some watches costing $1049 or $1099, and then there is this watch...

lol, this product line doesn't look good and is so overpriced. Man, I am not an apple hater, but Apple...you crazy for this. Especially the $17,000 watch. Apple, fuck outta here with dat shit. All of it, but especially for the $17,000 watch.

Btw, these are two of the first games announced for it.

lol smh Apple bruh you are way to arrogant to think you can get away with charging all this money for these

Actually, sadly, this product line will probably succeed...but I don't think it should. I like iPods and iPads, but this...damn, huge waste of money if you ask me.

That's just unnecessary, but I'd rather have a smart watch then a phone since I hate having things in my pockets.

Are they trying to put Rolex out of business? I mean, damn, lol.

Lol, $17k just to look luxurious with the included 38mm 18-karat gold. I rather just take the basic one for $350.

where did you get the picture saying that it costs 17000?
i'm asking this because
1. Apple did not release a price yet
2. it's really easy to fake it (showing a price that is incorrect)

edit: nevermind, found it on the store.
an 18k gold is only about $875 per ounce. that watch is beyond overpriced...

What are you guys talking about, that is super affordable.

Haha just kidding... forget wearing a watch, with that kind of money I could pay off my student loan and my car. Ugh I just realized how much money I don't have.

It's like OP was walking out of Starbucks when he started typing this. Then, half way through, he walked on the corner of a ghetto street, and finally, finished typing at home.

But nah, I regretted spending $90 on a watch in high school. I'm not even trying to buy a watch over $30.

I don't see the benefit of smart watches period. Another set of gadget driven by hype more than function.
For that money I could buy a quality watch that would probably out last me and have plenty left over.

How so, what? If you're talking about the pic, I just used the pic because it had to do with money. Couldn't find anything else to suit the topic. It's not what I actually think.

I don't really think smartwatches are necessary. There are way cuter watches out there that may not be smartwatches, but are actually practical, durable, and more stylish!
