How so, what? If you're talking about the pic, I just used the pic because it had to do with money. Couldn't find anything else to suit the topic. It's not what I actually think.

no, you said something about how it seemed like the OP left starbucks and walk through a ghetto street. i wanted to know how you came to that conclusion lol

That's dirt cheap compared to the Patek ~

Price tag: $6 million

In 1989, Patek Philippe created the Calibre 89 Pocket Watch to celebrate the company's 150th anniversary. It wasn't just a simple pocket watch. (At that time, it was the world’s most complicated watch and weighed over two pounds.) It includes no less than 1,728 components and took Patek Philippe five years of research and four years to manufacture. The cool thing is that it also indicates the temperature, as if we needed a mechanical pocket watch to do that. Since Franck Muller made the Aeternitas Mega 4, this is no longer the world’s most complicated watch

Wow 17,000 is enough to buy a brand new expensive car.

They made us watch a video about this in school. I don't really know why...

So what's next? Smart T-shirts? Smart rings?

Smart Plates. As you clear your plate of food, you get to see more of the plates display (the whole plate has an HD display). They create games centered around using the display and clearing food from the plate. Eventually there is a new candy crush that uses real candy and everyone loves it and it sells like 2 billion times on iTunes.

Ohhh. Idk haha, I just came into this thread without specific expectations. I started reading about the iWatch thingy, no big deal, then OP drops "Apple, fuck outta here with dat shit." I just didn't see it coming, haha. I don't know where Starbucks came from, I don't even go there. I swear I'm not high, I just typed on impulse like-

Don't know where you are but that is a low end good car here in the states with nice features. A new expensive car with features can easily run you 50 grand and that is for the low end.

I stopped wearing a watch for two reason first I tended to short digitals out or break the crystals on them if they were analog. Had a nice pocket watch but the spring broke on that. Started working around computers all the time they have a clock on them and carrying a cellphone which also has a clock. Nope at 349 dollars for the low end version it isn't worth it much like Google glasses, that and they have locked it to one platform sigh more platforms more users.

Nope I'm waiting for some smart human to kick out the wrist cellphone and AR glasses that aren't a status symbol and don't cost an arm and a leg.

I don't see why people are acting like that's a crazy price for a watch.

That's only the solid gold version. The common version is $100 more expensive than anything on the market and chances are it will still make you feel cooler than everybody, which is what being a power ranger is really all about.

Because a hand-crafted Rolex comes from these guys

And is still cheaper than the China-built Apple Watch.
