Yeah I do not like average people either. Average people are boring. I prefer to be a unique snowflake.
*Ding ding ding ding* that was fast, hope you like buttholes OP! Cause heerrreeessss your new partnerrrr

Sorry my uniqueness is too great for Op. However I can share my ways of the unique with you. All you have to do is click your heels three times and say "There is no place like home." After that you will be unique like me. Dont question my logic as I have taken a philosophy class. However there is only one downside to being a unique snowflake.....we are snowflakes so we melt.

We need the average people to fill the roles of "NPC" in this world. We can't all be Heroes or unique snowflakes.

I agree that the average person is a moron. Work in customer service enough and you'll realize that. I don't think it is due to their inability to think. They simply don't want to use that ability all the time, sometimes causing them to not use it when they should. Happens to everyone once in a while. It's easier to react to emotion than to do a methodical analysis of everything you are going to do.

Still, people are not computers and they need to also satisfy their emotions to be happy. Being purely efficient and robotic is not human. I do wish people would generally think more, but thinking too much is also unhealthy. Everything's a balancing act, I suppose.

I completely agree with you.

Unique =/= Desirable or useful or good

Without any use or benefit, it might as well be a liability.

Probably. I used to know a fellow with AS and I am sure he lurks here now and then.... Um . . . although he's not libertarian, by any stretch of the imagination. He could be a really nice fellow too.

I don't, I have other baggage...

I'm guessing there are more people with AS here but they might not feel inclined to talk about it.

^ Edit of this below. I really don't like how I worded this.

I really do think you are mistaken. Yes, people can let their emotions get the best of them, to the point of doing stupid things. However everybody will let their emotions get the best of them sometimes. Some of your posts that you have made recently have been very attacking and left no room for debate( as you claimed you were right). I personally found those to be a stupid mistake without much thought being put in to it. This is why many users( and I'll admit myself included) just don't care and will leave a "I do not care what you have to say" comment. I have nothing against your threads and think they can be interesting discussions...I would agree and say yeah it seems people tend to be pretty moronic now. Working in retail has really shown that. Try to explain the return policy to them and even do the return to make the customer happy. Yet they still cause a scene and complain because they themselves were the ones who messed up( their receipt expired and we did not have to do the return, but ended up giving store credit. However we could only give the credit as the last selling price for the item).. They say they will call Corporate, when the store is following what Corporate set up. The customer says they will never buy anything at our store again, but then goes to the cafe to buy popcorn. Yeah people can be pretty stupid so I agree. However with your post you appear to be attacking and have this notion that you are somehow superior. I personally think that we all have the ability to think logically( it may seem like some a little more than others at times), but we all act on our emotions as well.
Try to have a better outlook on life and people. The average person is not as moronic as you may think. I'm pretty sure you have done plenty of stupid stuff. I'll go ahead and admit I have done my fair share of moronic things.

Pray do tell, what makes you such a perfect being that you're able to so critically judge others and see it as fact?

Of course the average person is emotional. Everyone is emotional. This whole thread was started because of your emotions. I spent over $100 dollars to get a Satsuki Kiryuin bishoujo figure from Japan, and its gonna be here wednesday I'm so excited! See that was an emotionally driven decision. Am I stupid now?

The point is, pretty much everyone is driven by emotional side of themselves. And if you think about it, that makes sense. How can you be driven by logic? Logic is a tool, not a motive. And there's no reason human beings can't have the capacity for both.

Edit: I have Asperger's, but I can't say I share the same view as you.

"All they do is absorb in the bullshit from mainstream media and regurgitate it."
LMAO somewhat true

Don't underestimate people, overestimate so you don't get surprised.

Also don't fret over the small stuff, focus on yourself to improve yourself even further. (by any means)

Because there are smart people out there and they kick ass.

I don't have AS, I'm just a shy person. (never had a gf either, only mentioning it because of relevance to OP's post)

It's interesting how people emotionally react in arguments about issues they have strong convictions for. Even if someone is shown factual evidence that contradicts their arguments they often rebound and become more radical in their conviction in response. Persuading someone to change their views / beliefs is very difficult, especially when there are so many options to re-affirm their beliefs through niche websites, social media, and cable television. I don't particularly hate most people for that reason, I think it's simply a symptom of humanity. I have a fairly deterministic philosophy... so there's that. And that is why I don't start serious threads in forums.

The average person is nothing more than a complete moron who can't critically think at all. All they do is absorb in the bullshit from mainstream media and regurgitate it. I'm not wasting my time arguing any important issues with most people because most people are too moronic to understand it. The average person thinks with their emotions, and not with logic and reason. That's why they make so many moronic mistakes. I hate people who only think with their emotions and not with logic and reason. So yes, I hate the average person. I don't have a girl friend, and I'm 25 because I find that most girls are too shallow and stupid. The only type of girl I would date is an intellectual and intelligent girl, and that's very hard to find nowadays. And I don't care about whether the girl I am dating has a university degree or not because university degrees have zero relevance in measuring one's intelligence.

Remember, critical thinking is a skill only a handful of people have. Most people lack in critical thinking skills. Of course, you can disagree with me, and prove me wrong. Please try.

I hate having to sugar coat things. I am pretty dead honest because I have Asperger's Syndrome. I hate authority and government. And I'm also an anarchist and libertarian. I'm pretty much like Spock from Star Trek. I think almost purely with logic and reason and not with emotions although I sometimes do get very pissed off and get angry.

The reason I am making this thread is because I am asking if there are other people on this forum who have Asperger' Syndrome, and share the same or similar views as me. Here's a fun fact. Just because I have Asperger's Syndrome doesn't mean I don't have any social skills. My social skills are actually pretty good. The only reason I often piss off other people is because I'm just sometimes too damn honest to the point of offending people since I don't like to sugar coat things. I do, however, have to sometimes control my emotions mainly because I am often very angry. I have a bad temper. But other than that, I think pretty rationally and logically.

I get your frustration, it was suggested to me tonight that I should write a history book. It was said seriously but if it was a joke it would be spot on. I am a cig-break historian. The average person is not a moron, they just can't remember anything, whereas you and I remember everything.

That's why our sentences, spelling, and punctuation have to be just so.

I'd like to see the data that you must of meticulously collected over a long period of time to make such a claim, but it probably doesn't exist.

Can be exemplified pretty quickly, though.

For nonexistent data on people being morons, that is.
