Silver Spoon will make you cry. It will also make you laugh, smile and have all the feels in the course of 5 minutes.

"Your lie in April" has it's moments.

I wouldn't say it will make you cry but Beck is probably the best slice of life I have seen. It plays a lot of different emotions very well.

A few others that haven't yet been suggested:

Kanon (2006): Same makers as Clannad. Enough said.

ef: Tale of Memories: Great art, emotionally powerful romance.

Golden Time: A bit flawed, but also one of the only shows that talks about a maturing relationship--and one that's plenty bumpy.

Toradora, Golden Time, and Nagi no Asukara are all highly recommended. All three of them are on the site, too, and Toradora even has a dub if you're into that. Nagi no Asukara is getting a dub this year also, again, if you're into that. I think that Toradora has an excellent dub though, so I would recommend watching it dubbed even if you don't typically watch dubs.

If you can watch Honey and Clover, I really liked that one. Also, one of my all time favorites, Saishu Heiki Kanojo

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but Anohana you can even stream it here....I've never cried in the past for an anime but the character relationships and development are played out really well! Also at first you may not care for the main character or his friends, but as you learn more about them episode to episode on their struggles by the end....don't be surprised when the tears are slowly falling down your face

White Album 2 hit me so hard in the feels that I cry every time. I've watched it about 10 times, and now I can't hear White Album at all without crying.

Waiting impatiently for Season 2 to be announced...

And as another mentioned, Anohana is one of the biggest tear-jerkers for all the right reasons.
