Anyone know of any bands that are similar to Dir En Grey? Also, what's your favorite album by them?

Do they have to be Japanese bands? I don't have a favorite album cuz I don't particularly like Dir En Grey besides this one song that was in Baki the Grappler, Child Prey.

Well, yeah, because it seems all the non-American bands that get any recognition mostly come form Europe, while Japan, or any Asian group, seem to take a backseat. I specifically chose Japan because they are notable for being the most creative in any entertainment medium.

I can't think of any band that is similar to Diru. Their best album is Gauze, by far.

I wish I had known of bands like Zeni Geva when I was 17-years-old.

Wagakki Band, Girugamesh and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas are two I can think of

There is very few songs/albums that I don't like from Dir en Grey, especially after seeing them live, it rekindled my love for all their stuff.
