so BBC fired clarkson, from top gear and sacked the show. clarkson i guess was being an asshole, then again what cleb isnt?
whatever, i signed the petition to bring him back. so far 24 hours and 600k votes later.
the only reason i know BBC is top gear.

The last I read he was only suspended but they weren't going to air the remaining two episodes of this season. And I did read this on the BBC website. The allegation was that he punched a producer so I guess I can understand the response.

It's annoying, though. I love that show.

If he really did punch another person working with him in the face he SHOULD get sacked.
And the people who are against this are just selfish only thinking about what they want.
Just imagen working some where and this happens to you then you see 1 million other
people thumbing there nose at you and the problem cause they "like" the other guy... losers

If someone punched me in the face at work I still wouldn't want him to get fired. Like someone else here said, fight back and leave everyone else out of it.

You're a better person than most of us. If someone punched me in the face, I'd need to be held back from beating them within an inch of their life.

From the sounds of it, he was probably blindly drunk.

I don't know all the details but if this was while they where at work then.. Your answer is a no go. Cause thats my WHOLE BEEF with it. If they meet outside of work I wouldn't care what they did short of killing eachother..

A. They are on the clock at work and he punches another employee in the face.. FIRED
B. They meet up outside of work and get into a fight.. JOBS SAFE

My problem isn't the fight alone its if it was at work when it happened. I don't see why thats so hard to understand theres a time and place. If you bring your problems to work then YOU become the problem. Do you disagree with that? To bad it doesn't work like you want anyways you end up just promoting a hostile work environment with the possibility of lawsuits and EEOC complaint/investigations. As a business owner you want to stay away from stuff like EEOC/Gov. watchdogs.

I have no reason to watch the BBC anymore, at least until they decide what to do.

He's a plonker. I'd still enjoy the show without him.

The the focus turn more to cars and less on comedy I could too, maybe. But as it stands I don't think the show will survive without him.

The petition should never have happened. It's disgusting really.

The petition is up to 900,000. It's going to be hard for the BBC to ignore.

Ah yes, more ultra free media.

The "ultra free" media preaches about how everyone should have their own opinion and feel free to have it then quickly pounces and shreds on people who share their own opinion when it doesn't agree with their own "ultra free" viewpoint.
