Do you believe the media is pushing a "Cops vs. Innocents" agenda?

Media is a big joke. They only talk about stuff that will get them ratings.

But anyway, these "innocent" people being killed by police obliviously aren't innocent if they are being targeted by the police. The police overshooting these criminals is the problem. It takes one shot to kill a human. It's animal instinct to kill to survive. It doesn't matter if the person is unarmed, has a knife, or is on drugs. Now killing a child, someone for selling tobacco, or for someone being homeless is dumb. These people can simple be knocked out unconscious.

I will always support the police because they protect us by upholding the law that morons, criminals, like to break. Breaking the law puts lives in danger so don't ever say police don't protect you because they do! Fool!

And if the very people breaking the law are the cops themselves? Just because someone got a job as a cop, it doesn't mean that they're a hero of justice. They're people who simply have specific authority and we expect them to uphold it responsibly.

But people aren't always responsible and cops don't always go after the bad guys.

Must be wonderful to live in a world where there are no bad cops, stupid cops, corrupt cops, or just plain human cops who make mistakes.

In the US, they are not obligated to do so.

Not mentally ready for that. We could also do what they did in that movie called "The Purge".

I try not to read anything about police brutality. Gives me a sense, of "I'm not involved so I'll just turn a blind eye over it."

I think the whole body-camera's thing would be something worth pursuing. No ones asking cops to be perfect there still human with everything that comes along with that. It does seem to be damning when I see video of cops warning other cops that their patrol car video cameras are still recording as they deal with a troublesome suspect in a physically heavy manner however.

Humans in power are just that in power,

those who are allowed to do as they please will.

Why do you think a unarmed homeless person surrounded by multiple trained officers gets shot while he is unarmed.

not all cops are bad but to many are allowed to kill with little thought to human life.

of course most people or wealthy people might applaud such actions by those in uniform seeing as who it was that got shot.

I was walking behind some college students who were talking about finding and setting a homeless person on fire for kicks and laughing about it.

so to be human is to kick those who are worse off than you.

ego boosting its called.

to be fair, recently some people have been killed by the police even a llama. i do believe that their trying to give the victims a voice and at the same time ensure the police dont abuse their power for instance if they step out of line people are there to showcase it.

Right, because corrupt cops clearly don't exist and it must be people's imaginations acting up. Everyone who gets shots by a cop rightfully deserves it because wearing a police badge means you're always right.

The police overshooting these criminals is the problem. It takes one shot to kill a human. It's animal instinct to kill to survive. 1. Not everyone who gets shot by police is a criminal.
2. A lot of people can survive one gun shot. Part of the problem, as you said, is that police are shooting too much. It doesn't take dozens of shots to stop one average sized man. Another problem is that police aren't trained properly to deal with suspects without killing them. Rather than shooting to just stop a suspect, they shoot the torso because it has the highest chance of killing them. They're trained to shoot to kill. Whenever they go overboard and kill an innocent person with an excessive number of shots, their police chief immediately covers for them and tells them what excuse to say. Then the justice system pretends nothing happened.

Let me get this straight. You acknowledge that police have an issue with being overly aggressive, but you still support them? Do you honestly believe someone is incapable of breaking the law just because they wear a blue uniform and a badge? I'm sorry, but it's that kind of ignorance that allows people in positions of authority to get away with crimes. Police will almost never turn one of their own in. Especially not when they work in the same department. Just look at Ferguson. The police department there had a long history of racially motivated aggression towards civilians and it took this long for that fact to be made public.

All news media have their own separate agenda depending on their political alignments etc etc, the real question is who is pushing what agenda?
