If you have a REALLY bad personality trait (like big tempers, or gets really angry easily,) You should seek some help and lessen them down.
But if its a trait that doesn't harm anyone then you should keep it! Its good to have somewhat bad personality traits it tells you that your human and not some perfect person.

What bad personality trait? ..*looks up a list of "bad personality traits" online* uh dirty? isn't that a state of being not exactly a trait per se ..*keeps reading* wow that's a long list *reads more* ah stubborn yes I got that one .. anddd okay this list making me depressed *stops reading*

Well based off the list I see I do have some bad personality traits (shocker). I'm very stubborn, selfish, lazy, can be reckless, immature, and ungrateful..

I'm really bad when it comes to being stubborn but I have been trying to be less of a hard head. I try to exercise not being selfish by being more giving and thoughtful of others. Laziness has too much power so its better not to fight it. For being reckless, I do lot of reckless things.. so I should probably value my life more. And I'm immature in a way that I don't know how to handle problems and usually run away than work things out. Also I can be ungrateful for what I have and I need to remind myself to be thankful.

I always accept them. Mainly because I'm too lazy to care.

It's a neverending battle. The moment I think I'd finally beat it, it crawls right back up like a cockroach.

"Embrace your demons."

That's all there is to it.

No point in making yourself the enemy.

Who cares about rehabilitation, you're right. Hardened criminals recitivism rate is at an all time high, but who cares, why try to change it people are hopeless. And drug addicted alcoholic mothers and misogynistic wife beaters, bah, they're only human. Its cool they should just embrace their demons. Not the smartest thing I've heard, but I've heard worse.

I do both, like sometimes I tend to get very physical (fite me bruh) and I end up slapping someone, but now I just save it for someone who deserves it or something.

I can't say I'm all good to people, so sometimes I can be bad too .
And with that I think you can stop it, but all you need is to try to control it .. i guess ..

Mhmm.. Can't expect everyone to internalize what such a saying really means. Though I'm not quite sure how you can equate such assumptions to "embracing" one's demons. Sounds more like you're thinking along the lines of "indulging" one's demons.

The idea of embracing your demons is an actual philosophy. Instead of trying to get rid of aspects of yourself that you despise or that bring you pain and suffering, you must try to accept them as a part of you - to become mindful of the good and the bad in you. Don't deny the parts of yourself that are not "good." Doing so only result in self-loathing. Acceptance is the key to loving yourself. Yes, there is both good and bad in all of us. It's pointless to only pick and choose the parts you like and discard the rest.

Here are a few interesting reads on the subject:
