If you have or plan to have children, are there any hobbies and or interests that you would like to pass down to them? Maybe just introduce to them? Were these hobbies and or interests passed down to you?

If I have kids, baseball would be the go to sport, since my family has been playing it for generations and I can easily teach it. I'd also introduce my kids to a variety of music genres and of course anime, manga, and comics.

Disclaimer: I and many others don't wish to push these things on to our children. It's all about introducing your kids to the world, just maybe starting with something you are familiar with. I was already giving you the benefit of the doubt, so no need to defend yourselves.

If I ever have a kid, architecture will be something I teach him/her, that way even if they aren't interested in it,they will have a skill they can use. My dad started me and my siblings with anime when I was a 6 year old and I would do the same,as far as sports, they should choose as long as they are active.

If i ever do manage to have a kid in my lifetime, i would say Japanese culture as a whole, hopefully a love for some form of art, since nearly everyone in my family is artistic in some way or another.

I'll teach my nieces and nephews about Mexican culture and how they should preserve our traditions.
Gardening and soccer are a big thing in my family, so I'll try to get them involved in those things. Vegetarianism is another thing that my family is big on but nobody has done it since my grandpa.

If I had kids I would just encourage them to try what interests them. Though I might suggest trying a musical instrument if they're interested. Not because it looks good or whatever, just because I think music is amazing and learning it is the best way to appreciate it.

I would teach them how to play piano and guitar.. and some good ass manners. Being nice and spreading joy can be quite fun.

I used to (if I ever had a kid) have this vision of the child learning aviation, martial arts, ballet, archery, an instrument of their choice, and to master at least one other language.

But that sounds like I'm training an assassin. Plus, it'd be a lot of pressure, probably impossible, and also expensive.

When I really think about it, I'd want to learn who they are as they become who they are, and to nurture whatever loves and interests they have. If some of those happen to coincide with some of my own interests, then I'd be a lucky parent.

If they picked up my hobbies/interests/values by osmosis, I'd imagine passing on a love of music/adventure/books (and all forms of stories), a respect for nature, cultures and history, and to value family. These are the things that were passed on to me from my parents.

2 hours anime and manga/day would be my rule!

No, but seriously... I'd teach him/her to respect other people for what they are. And then I'd introduce anime, but I wouldn't force them to like it.
