They removed their scary movies. I was so sad.

Hahaha, wow, but not as pathetically repulsive as some who are already here.

I know what you mean, but haters gonna hate. You just worry about you and things won't seem so bad.

Nah, haters don't bother me. They are just cockroaches scurrying around the garbage that is their life, worthy of only a moment of disgust or mockery at the absurdity of their existence.

What bothers me are those who earnestly think that they are helping Crunchy community while making no effort to understand it. There are more threads complaining about certain types of threads than actual topics worth complaining about. Its like, going to Japan then complaining that no one speaks English and the locals have different customs.

It seems this is more of a thread questioning not the change of crunchyroll but the community that crunchyroll harbors. I am new to the site, so I don't have much of an opinion on a thread like this. But I want to be a part of this community, no matter how small a part of it I may be. I've rummaged through the forums more than I have actually watched any anime. And I've noticed that most of the hate that anchors down the community of crunchyroll comes from general discussion. Of course I didn't really notice this at first, though I never tend to when I peruse a new forum for the first time. Relationships that have been formed, people that regularly post on the same threads as each other, the same people creating threads that are almost always controversial. It is no wonder that crunchyroll seems to have changed for you. I don't think there is any clear remedy to this predicament. No amount of discussion can be fulfilled to stop us from hating each other, for whatever reasons we have. Use a little more insight whenever you post something, and try to see things from the other side. I am young and rash, and have made mistakes on other forums countless times before. I know if I had just taken a little bit more time to think things out before posting, that I would have been heard more clearly. Please take my opinion into consideration, everyone.

What do you mean understand though? It's not like we have talking points or a hive mind. Everyone is their own person. If people want to generalize and then complain about their own perceptions as if it were fact let them. That's their prerogative, you shouldn't let trivial things like that bother you.

Oh, it doesn't bother me personally. I just don't want it to alter the community itself, to where the people who post interesting threads feel that such threads aren't wanted here. And from there it becomes a mod matter, as the new community identity is enforced through certain topics being locked, etc.

The history of the AMP thread is basically this matter in a nutshell, to give an example of this very site.

(I’m guessing) In a Nutshell, the OP is complaining about the new kids appearing on the Crunchyroll Block, who do not note of "community culture", complain that the said culture does not suit them and make every effort to change it to suit them.

I haven't been here long enough to ascertain the level of the community here yet. But, so far I am liking it here. There is a fair bit of snark here and there though.

The mods are people too. If you politely ask them to shut a thread and clean it up for you I'm sure they'd do it. You don't have to cave to a vocal minority that wants to derail your thread. You can handle it maturely. Just keep posting threads you like, because nobody is going to post them for you. Now if your thread receives no replies, oh well, it's not the end of the world. It's not like you are trying to craft a narrative others can cling on to. Just worry about you and you'll find this place enjoyable still.

Crunchy-kun, you've changed.

You used to be a fun gal up for random things, but now you're stuck in the mud and lost all you're spontaneity.

What was it?

Who hurt you?

Its understandable that you're going through changes. But do you even know why!

For who are you changing for?

You talk a good game of taking responsibility but to anyone else it just appears you're afraid of having nothing to say.

You just sit there, muttering in the corner like a child jealous that others are playing but you weren't invited.

How can you say you want to be more mature, when you won't even accept the truth of your feelings?!

Tell me, Crunchy!

How did you go from this:

To this:

Spring is here, Crunchy, so why are you trapped in a winter of discontent?

I'm confused because I'm part of new Crunchyroll, I missed out on old Crunchyroll.

You nailed me, OP, I'm here to speak honestly and nonsensically, away from the walls to which I cling so desperately in the real world. But both of the pictures you provided are happy fantasy girls, not our reality.

Is that not enough? Are you not entertained? But I believe my taste is impeccable! Your fire has drawn me in like a moth.

I certainly am entertaining myself, and I feel better the less I try to introduce myself and just let loose, whatever comes to mind. At least we all still like anime, and some of us have great voice. Tone and melody are spot on.
