And it was only like 2 weeks later I realized I bought it cause I thought it looked cool in an anime I had once seen. When I first saw it I knew what the gun was but couldn't remember why I liked it... I just remembered why today.

Anime : Canaan
The Gun : Beretta PX4 Storm

Dunno I just found that funny.. so much of an otaku even my gun choices are influenced by anime.

*edit* In my defense... its a pretty sexy gun.

*edit 2* Shes got great trigger discipline

Not gonna lie irl guns freak me out but I think that's because of the people I've been around using them doing dumb stuff rather than guns per-say. Hope you got yourself some safety courses with it :).

I treat my guns with a healthy dose of fear and respect. The MP5 is always locked up, and the 2 pistols in the house including the PX4 are always chamber empty and safety on.

Of course most home defense people would say thats retarded, but I just haven't worked up the nerve to carry with a round in the chamber. And yes Im taking courses, i have a membership for the range , took my CWL class just recently, and im going to some action shooting classes.

Well my PX4 is a .45 lol.. so yea.. its pretty damn loud. I always double up on hearing protection. Should hear the magnum users though...

Top: H&K MP5 A5 .22lr
Left: Beretta PX4 Storm .45
Right: Ruger SR 22

Warning: Images of real guns, if stuff like that bothers you do not open.

Is it common to have so many firearms in house in the USA? I mean I personally know maybe 4 people who own a gun in the UK (mainly farmers with shotguns for the foxes) but that's out of a few hundred people. I understand that they are considerably more common on your side of the pond but i don't really have any sort of handle on how much. Would you say your arsenal is typical of an american household or are you more into guns than most?

I don't like guns but that looks like a fun collection. I'd go to the shooting range a lot if I had those.

Hmm thats a tough one.

I would say before I got into guns I only ever saw 2 in my life, my grandfather's shotgun and my cousin's pistol. Now that I like to shoot myself, and I go around shopping and stuff for them.. I see them everywhere.

Guns are still taboo in the US , a lot of people want them taken away from people... its basically like anime.. you don't see it everywhere till you get into it and meet other people who are into it. Then its like.. WOW LOOK AT ALL THE FURRIES

Ì live in Sweden and guns are only achievable with a license that's almost impossible to get... I only know one person who owns guns, but he got them using a illegal method...

Isn't getting a suppressor for that MP5 a pain and expensive?
Also its semi-automatic right? I thought fully automatic firearms are illegal.

The MP5 is a blast haha (pun intended)...

It shoots little tiny .22's so it has like 0 recoil, and they are 25 round mags... so I just unload like 50 bullets in 10-15 seconds.. its fun if I just feel like unloading.

For comparison, heres what a .45 \ 9mm \ and .22 look like:

Warning: Picture of real ammo, do not open if that bothers you.

Pretty much everyone from my family to my friends has at least 3 firearms. I have an uncle and cousin who both have 6 ARs and/or hunting rifles and a few handguns (from what I've seen) or more, however I'm willing to bet that that isn't typical (One of them is an active duty soldier).

Yes is semi auto and its a faux (fake) suppressor to cover up the extended barrel. Otherwise you see this ugly thin metal tube.

It would be a pain in the ass to:

1. Get the barrel shortened (need to ask for permission and pay $200
2. Get a real suppressor (Same process as above ^)
