I just finished this roller coaster. It destroyed me, ripped my heart out, and then mostly put me back together again. I'm still feeling a bit bruised and am looking for a recommendation on what to watch next. Something to help me get over Kaga Koko.

Assuming anyone ever gets over Kaga Koko...

I'm really enjoying Saekano, but am all caught up with the live stream. Any other anime suggestions?

If you enjoyed Golden Time, you should check out Toradora. Or maybe even Sakurasou.

Toradora it's by the same author as Golden Time.

/white-album-2

That'll make you forget all about Golden Time. Don't need to bother with watching the first series, though, Except for the song, they're not related stories.

Say "I Love You": A bit more of a shoujo feel, but also about a character making friends and falling in love for the first time.

Clannad/Clannad: After Story: Takes a bit to get going (first season good; second season is great), but has the same feel of "rips your heart to shreds, and then mostly puts it back together".

Love, Chunibyo, and Other Delusions: A bit funnier, and a bit less dramatic, but still a nice mixture of both, and also a solid story about kids falling in love and maturing at the same time.

Myself; Yourself: Also about a group of friends dealing with love, betrayal, and family issues.

ef: Tale of Memories: A bit darker than Golden Time, but still an excellent romantic drama with a bit of comedy--and the artwork is impressive.

Thanks very much for the suggestions.

Toradora was on my list, so I think that looks like a contender. White Album does look very good as well -- kinda strange that season 1 doesn't relate to season 2!

Some of the anime people mentioned I think aren't licensed by CR in the UK, like Clannad and Amagami. Which is a shame because they do look good too. I may have to find another source for those.

Thanks guys, if anyone else has a suggestion let me know!

It looks like you can watch Clannad on Hulu, but you can't get Hulu in England!

The universe is conspiring against me!

This looks like a good one, but a pretty short series! I've added it to my queue, thanks for the tip.

Wow, thanks for tip on Toradora! I'm watching it now... damn I'm a sucker for a borderline psycho tsundere. :)

BTW, if you enjoyed Golden Time check out the review on my profile:

Still not sure I've quite come down...

Cheers guys!
