What I'm wondering is why they would outsource to the US when they can get the work done locally at near slave labor prices.

I hear animators get paid $1.20 an hour.

Can anybody else confirm this?

I do understand, I just don't understand why someone would think that animation would be done in the US at all when there's no large companies that would focus on it.

I'd like to see the original argument to have a better understanding where this idiot is coming from. That's all.

I can understand if someone said "Animation is outsourced in South Korea commonly"
But Bleach being produced in the US? Are you kidding me.
