I dropped Isuca because the entire device--plot, characters, setting, etc.--bored me horribly. Not so with Your Lie in April, which has a strong plot, beautiful music and artwork, and actual character development. No, I dropped Your Lie in April because I lost all faith and interest in the protagonist, the one character whose development was, in my opinion, fatally delayed. Kousei was unbearable!

I think with more shows of other genres that have fresh ideas / twists or jut ignore anime logic are trending better!

If are going to have a harem / ecchi / fanservice heavy show you better have something interesting going on!

The trouble with the harems too they try to be serious like the end of the world / power play etc!

Again some work better than others becasuse there is some substance.

Again this all IMO

The demands for a show are different than of ones from a manga, If you want to grab peoples attention then you show a lot of ecchi and gore because thats what people want to see

This has much less ecchi than the manga ( which is absurdly ecchi instead of just stupidly ecchi ) though and gore really isn't that big of a thing in Japan. There's no point in grabbing people's attention if you lose it after 2 episodes then just piss off everyone that liked the original manga to begin with.
