Hello. I am currently looking for an anime that can match Baccano, as that is the last anime I watched (although I have watched it before). I want more, but there is no more. Thus I am wondering if there is anything out there that can match it's quality.

Story, characters, music, and animation. It's all top notch.

Personally I'd say that Fate/Zero, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell and Steins;Gate can match it. But I've seen those already.

So instead of searching through various top lists for something that may or may not be able to match it. I'd rather ask you all for some advice here. I believe this will result in higher chances of finding something.

Edit:
PS, I'd love it if the anime was "mature" in the same sense as Baccano and the others listed above.

You could give Michiko and Hatchin a try.

From the New World
Book of Bantorra
Psycho Pass

Knights of Sidonia, if you can get used to the different animation style.

Thanks a lot people. I'll check them out. Most of these look very promising.

if you don't mind "ugly" looking characters, Flowers of Evil excels in all 4 categories... the animation itself is great quality...

Just an update. Once again, thanks guys. After looking into these anime's I settled down on trying to watch:
Book of Bantorra
Psycho Pass
Flowers of Evil.

I looked into the others as well, some of them I have already seen and some others really didn't appeal to me. But I think that concludes this thread. Thanks for the recommendations people, it really looks promising.

I did NOT know that. I'm partway into Durarara, but I have to be in a mood to watch it.

Ah, yes. I have seen Durarara as well, and currently watching the new seasons as it is released. And they are in the same universe, apparently Celty (Durarara) is an old friend of Ronnie Schiatto (Baccano).
