Does anyone use mangafox or mangahere to read manga online? I use both but lately both run really slowly, pages take forever to load and half of them come out pixelated and I have to reload them again.

Anyone else? Or is it just me?

Any other sites that you might know of that are running more smoothly? There's something a little off-putting about reading a manga at a snail's pace.

I use that, but haven't been on it for while. I'm on Mangalator/raffmanga a lot.

Im not a big digital manga person, i like to have a physical copy of the book itself. Also due to most people making it go from left to right instead of right to left makes it really confusing to me.

I also prefer physical copies, but manga is expensive and between my car payments and my mortgage and insurances, online manga is a good solution. I can't read books online but comics I can handle. I do, however, buy physical copies of all my favorites when I have the money to spare. That being said, I'm a little devastated at not being able to read manga online right now, since I'm lacking in pocket money atm.

Yeah and used manga at least in my area is really hit or miss. Hell even new manga is hit or miss for certain volumes in stores and i so do hate ordering online and then waiting for shipping. Due to living in an apartment they have the PO. box style mail boxes so if something that doesnt fit in the mailbox i have to go all the way to the post office 10 miles away (not literally).

I don't think I've ever even seen used manga where I live!! And the local comic book store has limited selection for manga and only one or two copies of each volume, so if you don't get your hands on it first, you have to get them to order some in and unless you want to wait for their next order to be placed, you have to pay a special order fee. It's such a pain D: I think the only series they restock regularly are Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, One Piece and Naruto.

hahah try living in a Maritime Canadian province that's just starting to develop multiculturalism. On the other hand, my older brother lives in Toronto. I'm visiting him this summer, and am saving a ton of spending money and already told him to start keeping an eye out for bookstores and comic shops that carry multiple languages xD

Too lazy to report for mods... but this thread won't last long since it is breaking the number 1 rule. Just an FYI.

I don't like Mangafox. Every time I try to go their website for manga, it's always licensed.

The rules talk about refraining to name websites with illegal content... under US law, mangafox is legal, as far as I'm aware. I could be mistaken, so if a mod feels the need to remove the thread, that's at their discretion, I won't argue against that. That's why mods are there in the first place.

Fairly sure Manga Fox isn't exactly on the up n up since they aren't paying anyone for the licensing of the Manga. On the other hand they don't tend to have manga that are already licensed by a us company already, or at least they didn't when i used them before not knowing about english physical copies.

They don't have anything that's licensed in the US, but that's why I said as far as I'm aware.

Anyway, I originally posted this thread to find out if anyone else was having problems and if anyone had other websites they used to read online (free or otherwise), but it seems to have gotten off topic.

Yeah, sites like those tend to not always have the best track recored. Only other site i really know about is Viz Media but they aren't anywhere near cheap i don't think.
