Ah, thanks. Looks like 1 month is out of stock now. I will check again soon.

Try again.

Seems like they are down again, i get "The product you requested does not exist." when i try to go to the one month page. Is there anywhere we can see the status of gift memberships? If not, can we get a page for it or something? It's quite frustrating not knowing when or if i'll be able to buy it.

Gifts were disabled due to the ongoing store discount campaign. They will be back afterwards.

So are 12 month gifts gone? I can't put a rolling membership on my card and I literately have hours left so I came on to buy my next year by gifting it to myself so that I could buy it at the lower rate but I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone out there tell me if my search is in vain?

So is there no way to get the 12 month price without a credit card where it auto rolls now? Really not feeling buying 12 on the $7 one month little things.

Well, in theory, you could set up Paypal with your current card, purchase the recurring membership, which would be charged for the year, and then cancel the renewal after enough time passes to clear the transaction. But I can't absolutely guarantee that something like will work, because I've never tried it.

There's supposed to be a way to preload paypal, too... so maybe that could be looked into.

I've sent an email in to Support already, but figured I might receive a quicker response here. I want to purchase a 12-Month Premium membership for my father. From what I've gathered of this thread, this option is no longer available for reasons known only to the upper management. I'm fine with purchasing twelve 1-Month memberships, but I had some questions.

When purchasing as a gift, it asks for the name and email of the recipient. If I populate this with my info, will the memberships be applied to my account? Or is this just the email that they will send redemption codes to? I would actually prefer codes, as then I could print them out onto a card for him.

Assuming the memberships do come as codes, will he be able to redeem them all at once to add an effective year to his account, or will he have to add them every month when his account is about to expire?

If it's for your dad, you could just buy a regular subscription on his account and disable the renewal. Unless you don't trust him and fear that he will extend the membership on your money.

When you buy the gift memberships in the store you can put in your email and the code will be sent to you, not applied to your account. You can then send the codes to someone else to use. I've done that before when I wanted to give the gift but didn't want to give someone else's email address to Crunchy, or didn't know the email address.
