I enjoyed Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha so I was excited to see her newest work, Rin-ne, is getting an anime. I saw they just recently released a promo that's been kind of floating around the web and that the anime will be done by Brain's Base. Crunchyroll has carried other Brain's Base anime so I was curious if anyone knew if they'll be carrying it or where legally one would be able to see it simulcast? I think it starts showing in April in Japan if I'm not mistaken. Did I miss any Crunchyroll announcements about it?

It will all depend on who the NA licensor will be.

IF Funimation decides to license it, CR will most likely not get it (possible, depending on TV Station, but unlikely)

CR will most likely start announcing their spring simulcasts in the last week of march/first week of april.

Thanks so much for the response! As far as I know there has been no NA license announced, Viz handles the manga but not the anime. I'll keep checking in around that time for announcements then. I just want to watch it through legal avenues if I can and since it was approaching somewhat soon I was wondering if I missed something.

It is airing on NHK-E, so in this case, licensing will likely be handled by NHK, just as it was for Baby Steps, Bottom Biting Bug, and Log Horizon.

I would say odds are much better for CR getting it than Funimation.

No CR announcements for new spring simulcasts have been made. Those will likely start between the middle to end of next week. More often than not, Aniplex spills the beans on at least a couple of titles, often well before CR "confirms" the same.
