Post Reply Opinion on fake hair?

A healthy Derrick Rose is definitely on the same level as Lebron, in my opinion. Maybe not as good all around stat wise, but can go pound for pound with him.

All time, Michael Jordan needs to recognized as at least the best of this era, his clutchness is unparelelled in modern sports.

I love Lebron, he's a fierce player, and is real physical, which I like in a basketball player none of that only outside shot stuff, but he's got some flaws that I dont know if I can say he is definitely the best in the NBA.

Well, if they're bald, or if they (especially if) they had cancer, and can't grow back their hair, and wigs are the only option... Then I honestly don't see what's wrong with that.

Either way, I really don't care.

Their head, their choice.

For me personally wearing a wig or weave or even extensions is just too much. I've no need for that at any time. If I should somehow get alopecia or lose hair from other health reasons I guess I'll have to learn how to adjust to the bald look and get my head hennaed in some funky pattern. With so many synthetics and or hair dyes or preservatives from false hair or other people's hair I can't put such things near my super sensitive skin. I also find the thought of wearing other people's hair on my head creepy.

My only problem with it is that it looks fake. When it doesn't then sure go for it.

They can wear fake hair if they want, but I find it upsetting when they wear it because they cannot learn to love/like their own natural hair and are using fake hair as well...fake comfort.

Reminds me of black women so often wearing weaves since a young age - and that too, weaves from a total different style and texture of hair.

i have no problem with wigs but i hate that alot of african american women/girls would wear weaves alot. I hate it when people in my school would ask me if i have a weave or not and ill say no! Plus weaves are NOT OK whoever wears weaves are not ok to me. I wish weaves didnt exist and i wish that everyone on the earth had straight hair instead of it being different types.

What??Why do you have a problem what others do,is it any of your concern? Also, that last statement about wanting everyone on earth to have straight hair really rubs me the wrong way. The magazines and media setting straight hair as the standard of beauty is the reason why many wear weaves in the first place.

I have a problem of what others do because i am an african american girl and I hate that a lot of females of my race wears weaves, You cant understand how annoying it is when half of the planet either thinks you're wearing a wig or a weave! Caucasian girls never have to worry about those things and I envy them so much

Why shouldn't they be allowed. If someone doesn't like their natural hair, why not wear one that allows you to do so. Also, people who loss their hair due to aging, genetics, cancer, all three... they can get their hair back.

Why not? Do your best to make it look good. If it doesn't, then it's on you if others criticize you and that is all.

As long as fake hair doesn't somehow affect me, or land on top of my head.

fake hair is great honestly if you want to have long hair then clip those extensions in! short hair? there are some cute wigs out there. Let people do what they want. Maybe I'd want blonde hair tomorrow, green hair the next....no need to dye it if you have fake hair already that colour! seriously!~

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I wouldn't be so bold as to say that "Caucasian girls never have to worry about those things." I can totally empathize with what you're saying though in regards to it being annoying. I can't say anyone has ever thought I'm wearing a wig or a weave, since I'm as white as they get, but I have long hair (around my navel), and people constantly yank on my hair and ask me if I'm wearing extensions. It happens more or less on a weekly basis. But do I hate every other white girl out there wearing extensions? Nope. Everyone has different problems to deal with.
