Yo people of CR! I know some of you prefer to cook and some of you refuse to eat fast food, but what about restaurants? Do you go? If you do, what do you usually order? I don't go too often anymore, so my list is short in variety. Well, shorter than I'd like.

American: Western Cheeseburger
Japanese: Chirashi
Vietnamese: Pho
Korean BBQ: Bulgogi, Galbi
Mexican: Chorizo Burrito
Italian: Pizza
Chinese: I usually order a bunch of stuff and share within a group. Chow mein, fried rice, meat/veggies, dumplings, maybe a seafood noodle dish, etc.

If you go to any other ethnic restaurants or a specific type (seafood, ramen, etc.) that I haven't mentioned, feel free to list them. ^^

I can't trust them. Think I'll cook.

Depends on the restaurant... You know, not every restaurant serves the same food!

But to be honest, I don't trust them since there's a lot of cheating in restaurants in my country

Whatever whenever i have cash, though going solo to a restaurant is stupid feeling, so i usually don't go much anymore.

Usually any place that serves buffalo burgers, cajun style, so rare unless you go to the ends of the earth or anything past Idaho lol

Pizza places suck where i am as far as restaurant quality go, most are just by the slice fast foodish type. 2 places i go to up in Idaho when I visit my mom are awesome though.

Sushi, can't walk more than 3-4 blocks without running into one here.

Burrito place up the road really good, or chipotle but kinda expensive for a burrito

Tandori chicken or chicken tiki masala for Indian food

I don't really go to restaurants that often. Maybe if my friends want to go, yeah then I'll go wherever they want to go. If I usually order some food, it's usually pizza (which I order online), but no, I don't usually eat out.

American: 1" Thick NY Strip (w/ Baked Potato and Salad)
Japanese: Okonomiyaki or Yakisoba
Chinese: Kung Pao Chicken (or if Americanized menu...General Tso Chicken)
Vietnamese: Pho Ga
German: Brats and Kraut
Russian: Borscht
Mexican: Fajitas (and way too many shots of Tequila)

...that's about it for the dining out list...mostly I just cook for myself...

I don't go to many restaurants. When I do I mostly just get a bigger sirloin steak and salad. Pretty boring actually. I try to mix things up occasionally by ordering something like fish or chicken but not too often.

usually pasta or whatever but it depends on the type of restaurant i go to. my friends aren't that adventurous and they're BROKE as hell all the time (like they can't even afford $20 for a meal? ugh) so I don't go out to eat that much. but depends.

Lately I've been going to http://www.marscuisine.com/ Chinese, you get a BUNCH of food and it isn't too spendy . . . for around here.
I'll get the Broccoli and Beef or the Sesame Beef... (The girls that work there are nice looking as well as nice.)

I used to go to the Godfather's Pizza for lunch buffet but I've been pizza'd out for a while... They do the lunch buffet even on weekends.

Now and then I'll go to Sweet Tomatoes (Soup Plantation for you in California.) They send me coupons for $6.99 lunch now and then... I'll do the salads and then I'll go for a baked potato WITH ALL THE fixin's...

I was rather fond of Carl's Jr. but they never send out coupons anymore and it's a bit on the spendy side now.

It's been a while but there's a place called Sayler's Old Country Kitchen. They do awesome steaks and Prime Rib but they got to be toooooo expensive...

American: Burgers, wings. Is there anything else that's really distinctly American?

Japanese: Ramen, udon. I'll order things that I can't make. Very good broth from scratch is unique to each establishment so I like ordering soup dishes. If it's a really famous sushi place or an AYCE place, I'll grab sushi and sashimi as well.

Vietnamese: Pho, broken rice platters. Usually pho, though.

Korean: I only go to KBBQ places or places that specialize in soon tofu. I'll get lots of brisket and whatever unmarinated, boneless meat I can order for KBBQ. For soon tofu, I always get something with beef in it and I get the maximum spicy.

Mexican: Usually a carne asada or chicken burrito with no beans. I don't like hard-shelled tacos but I'll get the soft ones. Guac and some spicy red salsa is a must.

Italian: Everything.

Chinese: Not a fan of Chinese food unless it's BBQ pork. I usually order a few pounds and take it to go.
