Surprisingly . . . I've been using Samsung EHS63 earbuds and they sound great. If you check around you can get them for about $20. I've got a nice pair of Sennheisers and I've had various Skull Candy, Etymotic, KOSS, and Bang & Olufson. The cheap little Samsungs work really well for the money.

I use a set of small speakers whenever possible.

I have generic earbuds now. Ugh, my Skullcandies fell on the ground and I accidentally rolled over the earbuds with my office chair.

I use Creative speakers with a built in subwoofer for my laptop and tv.

I have the older version of the black Studio Beats headphones.

I like the earphones that come with Apple products, but once they break, I usually go for the $20-$30 Skullcandy earphones.

Audio Technica ATH-900X, I refuse to use closed back headphones as they just sound very confined. It's kind of like the music is "in your head" so to speak, while open back headphones sound...well...open, like everything is around me. I also find I can pinpoint where things are better in, say, a video game like battlefield where there is always a lot going on; I can hear every nuance and things sound "real". Of course it all depends on your situation, if you live in a house with people always screaming, then noise isolation could mean a lot to you. I also can't use earbuds because they start to hurt my ears after about 30 minutes.

I've got a pair of fairly cheap ATH-M20s. I work and know a lot of sound guys who have things like M70x's, but few ever really indicate that I'm losing much (if anything) by having a cheaper pair of headphones. The human brain is remarkably good at filling in for lossy compression data (that's how we do lossy compression) so I'm not sure how much value you're getting for a 'good headphone' compared to a 'bad one'.

My M20s cost less than half the price of Beats and I would have a hard time thinking Beats are any better in sound quality. With headphones, most of what you're doing is splitting hairs, so it helps to go with some lower priced gear unless you're actually in a sound studio doing audio mixing.

I use a pair of collapsible Bose headphones that my dad found left at the airport he works at for all things Anime/Game/Music related. The EQ is very nice, but it's not so much the Bass, Mid, Treble values I pay attention to, it's the 3D stereo and layers of audio that I really enjoy hearing. A pair of cheaper headphones has always just failed to do that for me, since they basically sound like I'm strapping a CD player's speakers to my ear. On top of that, the Bose I use come witth a headset and, like most expensive headphones, I can take the cord out of the headphones, which is nice because I'm more likely to break that than the actual headphones.

Other than that, I have a stock pair of Samsung Galaxy tab earbuds for my casual listening. (AKA I don't want anybody eyeballing my $150 headphones earbuds.) They're surprisingly good, plus they have the microphone on the cord, which really helps when I'm playing a game with my friends. (PC Gamer.)

Finally, I have a pair of Sony earbuds that wrap around the ears. I use these mostly at the gym, mainly because I like to run, and I can still hear my surroundings when I use them. They come in handy so I don't bump into anybody by mistake.

Normal SONY earphones. I only ever use them for my iPod. I simply cannot use them when gaming or watching a video.

These are the ones that I use. They are not amazing but they function perfectly. They have passive noise cancellation, and are over the ear, so i can wear them all day long.
I would recommend them for the price.

Sony Playstation headphones for the tele ($99)

Sony MDRX 10 Red headphones for the computer ($99) - they were overpriced at $200 which they were initally sold at but a steal now at $99. If you want something for bass then this is a good choice. I think they look good and are comfortable but are big and heavy.

A pair of Audio Technica Sport earbuds ($25-40)

A cheap over the ear Sennheiser something something random letters 200 ($20-30) pair of headphones. They are quality and are really durable if looking for something cheap.

I use Sennheiser HD 558's. They're good for me because they have a 3.5mm adapter to plug straight into my pc, but the main plug can fit into both my audio interface and my keyboard. Looking at them on Amazon you can get a pair for £100 which is £20 cheaper than what I got them for, but in dollars you can most likely get them cheaper.

I primarily use a pair of speakers, or some Apple Earbuds. Both get the job done.
