I finally saw the first episode and all I thought was my friend who is into this anime genre and another cosplay idea.

Hanae san is cute as Hoshitani but Hanae always have a cute young voice , but Kensho as the timid Nayuki, he is so damm cute , I actually didnt recognize Kensho there .Hosoya san as the MR attitude Tengenji is easy to pick

We have a newer seiyuu (2011)Arthur Conant Lounsbery as Tsukigami , this seem to be his first major role anime character work. He is pretty much half american but raised in Japan . He was in Buddy Complex and small role here in there ie Shokigeki no Soma

So far the animation is really good, the intro in not boring, but hope it gets more interesting in its genre. I do feel abit sorry that funimation got this title because it wont get much attention as it would be if it was in CR, as there is only 3 comments since it came out of funimation meaning less paying peeps there.

Well, it wasn't bad. Looks like there might be an interestingly diverse cast once we get to know them all. I like Itsuki Otori already, especially since the VA is Junichi Suwabe. Cannot go wrong with him. The song and dance number with the Kao-kai was laughably bad though. These guys are supposed to be the elite? How am I supposed to buy that with such bad choreography and animation? I liked Yuta Hoshitani's song and the ED though. Interested in seeing where this is going.

Episode 2

While those five made it onto a star team, it doesn't mean much at this point as they are just one of 20 units that have made it past the first screening test. They simply get to learn under one of the Kao council members and two performances will decide which of the five teams makes it to the musical department. As expected, Otori's choice of team members has sparked controversy seeing that under normal circumstances they are not qualified. Anyway, their first task is improvisation of a murder mystery, and after being hesitant, they made up some pretty good stuff, especially with Kuga and the fake blood. But Tengenji just isn't thrilled with this whole setup, and he lets Otori know. Next time the episode focuses on Tengenji and it will be interesting to see what his deal is. I'll give it another episode or two before deciding what to think about this show.

Episode 2

Detective Conan vibes!

I enjoyed the improv in this episode because it shows that the main character doesn't know how to act right away, which makes for some good characterization. The musical scenes are so interesting and fun to watch; I like it! It seems one of the members doesn't want our main character (Man, I need to start memorizing names) to be on the team anymore, so I wonder how that will play out? I am looking forward to the next episode!

Episode 2

Better than the previous episode but it still needs to a lot more to impress me. I will say that the guys does have potential although some of them need more practice.

The music with the metaphors still remains the better parts of the show while the story feels pretty blend so far.

At least clueless Hoshitani has someone who can help in the acting department

and what he did correct as how improvisation works is really paying attention to others and respond to it and props always help
There is no planning in improv
He pretty much did improv.

Remembering my good old days at the Improv studio that I trained at fun times
Here is an improv musical show by my teachers

I like this show wondering the genre because no females in cast but the dudes aren't making out either. I definetly would not call this yaoi in my book. This show has potential and I usually don't like musicals reminds me of profit machine Disney too much

I liked the two musical numbers in this episode. They were very dynamic and fun.

I like Otori a lot. And of course Junichi Suwabe is a fantastic seiyu with a great singing voice.

And Nayuki is just too adorable. He's seriously riding flying dolphins in his song. Love it.

Episode 3

A man and his cat!

This episode focuses on Tengenji and his deal. The drama builds up by him not wanting to cooperate due to Noshitani's inability to perform well and that in turn gets Noshitani to practice more. Tengenji's soft side with his cat was funny and interesting because it shows that the man actually has emotions or that he's not all bad. The flashy musical performances are also still going strong and I think that is the focus of the series, well, besides the characters. This musical themed drama and slice of life series is a bit on the borderline for me. I would like to see other characters, the competitions, and actual performances or struggle getting to the top. If this show gets into it or adds more depth, then I will stick around. I am looking forward to the next episode!

^ His performance imo was actually the best I've seen so far in the show.

However since the series isn't only half way yet, I guess my expectations were a bit low.

Episode 3

Something was up with Tengenji, and it turns out that he has a cat in his room. He wants Hoshitani to quit, but the issue is not so much his lack of skill as it is the lack of chemistry between him and everybody else. That was a solid episode there and at least the music is carrying this show, but besides that there's not much going for it. That said, it was nice to see that he's slowly accepting Hoshitani after those two were still searching long after the cat was found.

Episode 4

And now, an episode focused on Tsukigami as his family is huge in the entertainment industry, especially his big brother Haruto. All that pressure of living up to his family's name sure has gotten to him, and his attitude has turned sour. Making matters worse is Team Hiragi, who taunting Team Otori for being a bunch of failures as Ugawa gets in Tsukigami's face, and a fight breaks out. But in the end, everybody makes up and as it turns out Haruto is a close friend of Otori and he came by to let him know that he has his brother's full support. That was good how things developed.

Episode 4

It wold of been funny if they threw in some high level punches rather than saving a lunch box.

As for the music performance, I thought it was a step down compared to the last episode. They have talent but I didn't find it as artistic as before and some of it felt really repetitive in terms of choreography.

Episode 4

LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLEEEEEE!!!

This time around, the episode is dedicated to Tsukigami's character more or less and we get to see what his deal is. Seeing his struggle of living in his brother's shadow was nice to see for his character since it shows a problem he has to get through or deal with. The fight scene was pretty funny for me and I was wonder if this series was going to turn into a musical battle Anime! (Hey, that's a good idea! I'm look at you Dance with Devils). The ending was a nice touch for the team and with more episodes to come, I am sure they will improve. Looking forward to more musicals!
