Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka, I feel was just better dubbed. That and Dragonball(Z) were the only ones I feel were better than their original Japanese versions.

RahXephon is easily one of the best english dubs I have ever heard that excels past the original japanese.

When other anime like Tsubasa, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Persona 4 I cannot stand in english. (Thank god I played the game in japanese.)

I could list others I really like, like , Outlaw Star, Record of Lodoss, or .Hack//Sign but those are all close to opions. However Sora's english voice in .Hack was outstanding.

There are a number of shows that are better in English, and here are some to name a few:

Cowboy Bebop (Gotta love all the accents and realistic portrayal of foreigners)
Space Dandy (The show feels like it's made for American audiences instead of Japanese audiences)
Fullmetal Alchemist (Vic Mignogna makes a way better Ed than Romi Park)
Gun x Sword (Vaan's seiyuu makes my ears bleed)
Romeo x Juliet (Old Shakespearean English makes this a winner)
Hellsing (Those accents)
Ghost Stories (The script makes it worth watching as opposed to something bland)
Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero (Lots of extra spice to the script for an otherwise boring show)
Chrono Crusade (Set in America and uses dialogue appropriate for the time period)
Black Lagoon (Lots of swearing to make it much more entertaining to listen to)
Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt (Again, lots of swearing, not to mention the number of American references)

And there's more, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

It doesn't happen very often, but once in a while an anime will be on par with the original Japanese.
Cowboy Bebop comes to mind. I also like the English dub of Dragonball Z seeing as i really didnt like Goku's high pitched voice in the original Japanese.

Dragonball Z definitely

and then there are a bunch of shows I think either are just as good dubbed as the original, just good dubs by themselves, or surpass the original
Air
Devil May Cry
Excel Saga
FLCL
Gurren Lagann
Maria Holic
The Melancholy of Haruhi-Suzumiya Chan
Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
Soul Eater
Speed Grapher
When They Cry
Witchblade

Dragon Ball Z is the only one that comes to mind actually.. I prefer most of the subbed shows. Naruto being the biggest one I cannot stand in English.

Yu Yu Hakusho
Cowboy Bebop
FLCL
Air Gear
DB and DBZ
Trigun
Hellsing
Samurai Champloo
Inuyasha
Case Closed
GTO
Golden Boy
Berserk - Only Seen the dub, but its pretty gud.

Yeah, my list is pretty long but thats because there's a certain crass humor/snarkiness that comes from English that can't be replicated by Japanese dialect, though this can also apply vice versa, I don't really find Japanese jokes that funny in general.

Definitely can't agree with this one. I've seen both versions a few times and I'd recommend the Japanese over the English anytime.

The dub isn't bad, the voices are generally good and the acting is solid. I'd say the Japanese cast was stronger overall but beyond that, Nakashimas original Japanese script was very deliberate in places that got lost in translation. Things like Kamina and Simons speeches would often have a certain flow and even actively rhyme in the original Japanese, which is really hurt in the move to English.

The dub is worth a watch on a later rewatch of the show, or if you absolutely can't handle subtitles, but I think Japanese should really be the go-to for TTGL.

Oh, the usual. DBZ fosho. And I will only watch Durarara in English! It doesn't feel right watching it in Japanese.
