This is a given, but I'm gonna state the obvious anyway, Inuyasha(It's not only a million times better then the Japanese version, It's a VA job on a much higher lv then any Japanese cast could ever hope to produce)

Moribito Guardian of the spirit. Especially when you consider the fact the creator of the anime, made it with the goal of making the most realistic characters ever, the dub does so better.

Elemental Gelade: One name explains all, Brenna O'Brien. She's the only person in the entire VA industry who could do what she does. It's scary how much emotion she can show, with saying so little(and what makes it even more amazing, is that she had absolutely no help from the animation, the Ren char in Elemental Gelade, is barely animated at all, she is not much more then a still picture 99.9% of the time, so Brenna O'Brien definitely has mad skills).

Saiunkoku Monogatari(The English VA is so good in this, It's a crying shame season 2 was never dubbed)

The Twelve Kingdoms(all the English VAs are great, and while a lot of the Japanese VA/voices are just as good in this, there's some that are not as good)

I've become more of a sub fan anymore, but there are still a few dubs that I think are decent enough, even if it's just the familiarity of the voice if I watched it first in English.

.hack//SIGN never bothers me in English, though I never tried to watch it subbed yet. Durarara had a bearable dub and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood in my opinion should be watched dubbed, at least once.

Again, I haven't watched it in Japanese yet, but I was actually really impressed with K-on's dub. They did a good transition with the Japanese singing and English speaking voices.

Certain shows from my childhood I just can't watch in Japanese, even if I know it's better/un-edited. I could only get through a couple episodes of Japanese Digimon.

Spice and Wolf. Never heard it subbed but the dub is very good, the VA for Holo and Lawrence are perfect together. No surprise since they work together a lot :P

Black Butler. Great work and if i recall now that i think about it the VA for Ciel and Sebastien is the VA for Holo and Lawrence

DBZ. Cant stand the sub.

Cowboy Bebop. I don't even have to say anything bout this one.

D Gray Man. My friend absolutely LOATHES the sub. Complains Allen Walker sounds like a little kid haha.

Inuyasha. All around great work.

FullMetal Panic. No complaints.

FullMetal Alchemist. Damn good job a must watch.

Code Geass. Outstanding. Johnny Bosch was perfect as Lelouch i must say.

Fairy Tail. Well done.

I could probably name a few more but i think I'll leave it at that.

For people liking the fairy tail dub, I agree with most voices, but I do not like how they did Erza's. For her I prefer the sub - also they made the dialog more childish in English. I also liked Guild master bob dub from season 1 better than season 2 (and not a fan of his voice subbed).

Also like the noir, burst angel and canaan dubs - these along with fairy tail are just not the ones I think sound just like I had hoped compared to the sub.

Sgt. Frog - Hell, a few times, it even pokes fun at the original version.

Zatch Bell's Very Melon song is only enjoyable in the English dub, because Dubbed Victoream sounds like he loves melons a lot more than Subbed Victoream does.

Everything else is fine either way, so long as the script itself isn't terrible, because even quality voice acting isn't going to save a show with poor dialogue, and I'm far more likely to notice when I'm not preoccupied with reading subtitles.

I agree YuYu Hakusho was better in the english ADR

Steins: GAte...I just remembered I prefer the english ADR because I cant stand Miyano's Okabe... even though I really like Miyano san a lot .
It was just too much over the top acting to the point I cant believe it. I prefered Tatum's voice acting .

Fruits Basket is frankly funnier dubbed than subbed. Mainly thanks to Jerry Jewel(?) as Kyo.

Oh yeah... Jerry Jewel did a great job with Kyo , I laughed so much with his Kyo. I actually got to meet him a couple times at Anime Vegas many years ago and I told his Kyo was awesome.

I'm offering up Kuroshitsuji, as it hasn't been mentioned yet. Quite alot of effort was put into adopting accents and dialects. Texan J. Michael Tatum (Sebastian) deserves special mention for utilizing a posh English accent that he learned from his childhood speech therapist.

Hellsing's dub is rather famous, as well.

A personal favorite of mine is that of School Rumble. Perhaps because it's an over-the-top comedy, but the English cast is wonderfully hilarious and dynamic.

Quite a few Miyazaki films have top-tier actors. Even Liam Neeson in Ponyo, for goodness' sake.

Thank you for this little list.

I think I -might- see School Rumble. And the Kuroshitsuji guy looks interesting. :)

Dragon Ball Z - the dub of Goku is better in the dub version, since it's voiced by a man
in the English version, while it's voiced by a woman in the original version

i noticed that the script in the English version of dbz is toned down. in the original version of Trunk's history, the android
17/18 were more badass and Trunks was actually very mature for his age. he sounded more childish and a bit spoiled
in the English version.

Gundam Wing
Gundam SEED/Destiny
Gundam 00
Steins; Gate
Cowboy Bebop
Samurai Champloo
Fullmetal Alchemist/FMA:Brotherhood
Ghost in the Shell:SAC/2nd GIG
Code Geass
Inuyasha

Nostalgia might factor into Gundam Wing and SEED/Destiny making my list, but the rest were without a doubt amazing dubs in my opinion.
