You all felt that way at some point in your anime consumer career (lel) :P

That feeling when one of the show your watching comes to an end

But you wished it would've continue on and on and on...

Yet the finale is there, in front of you, you know those 24 minutes are the last ones

But you don't want it to end...

It ended, the anime is done, it was glorious ( Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso )

You laughed, you cried, you cringed, you screamed, good memories will be remebered

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah this feeling, god I wish it wouldn't hit that hard

But in the same time, it feels sooooooooooooooo good :)

So yeah, wierd post sorry hehehe I just feal wierd. But yeah do you guys ever felt that way after a show you liked

Ended ?

At one time yes, but after watching enough shows you know a new love will arrive sooner or later.

It makes me want to find another good anime....

I will always be searching the vastness of the internetz. One day I know I will find it, that one more fragment of happiness. Yet for how long? It will end thus the cycle begins yet again, infinite happiness and searching awaits me.

I actually feel really happy when I finish something good or bad. I finally finished polar bear cafe after stalling it for god knows how long (started it when it aired lol) and it felt so good to finish it, and I think I really did like it even tho I stalled so hard on it.

Parasyte is ending next week, I simply say,it was good while it lasted and i'll watch it again sometime. I'd rather have a show go out on top than overstay its welcome.

Yes I've seen so many potentially great shows either piss away their ending after 24 episodes or continue on so long that you really don't care what happens anymore and that's a shame. Granted there's always new stuff coming out next quarter, and at least some of them will come through.

I guess it's a degree of grief. You celebrate the thing you love and lament that it has ended. I like to re-watch my favourite shows, so for me they never really end. If they were somehow zapped from existence, I might grieve a bit. But life goes on. Anime goes on.

Devastation is what I felt when I am waiting for season 3 of A Certain Scientific Railgun or A Certain Magical Index.

Honestly, I feel no sadness when a show ends. I am either happy that it had an awesome ending. Or pissed that the story's potential ended with a crappy ending.

I also hate sequels to anime. When you try to continue a story that is supposed to be finished, you usually end up fucking something up. It always happens. Chrono Cross (was a great game but turned the ending of Chrono Trigger from a celebration into a tragedy), Eureka 7 AO, Last Exile, Darker than Black, Gundam Seed Destiny.

Now when I say sequel I don't mean like a 2nd Season to an anime whose first season didn't finish the complete story. I mean when a story is COMPLETED and then a few years later they think they can make some money by starting a new story off set in the same universe as the original story.

I had the same feeling when Jormungand ended because the ending is like a massive cliffhanger, and theres no more manga to go off of and theres not gonna be a sequel, I kinda was just like "Oh its just gonna end like that..."

lol utter emptiness. I get that whenever I finish a slice of life.

The last anime that gave me that feeling was Hanasaku Iroha.
