So, I like to watch anime when I work out in my home. It helps to keeps me going. I think I started this habit with Kenichi, and now I'm working my way through DBZ.

Now, I'm one of those 90's kids who somehow managed to miss out on on DBZ when it first aired on Toonami. And it's been awesome, but as the Buu arc intensifies, I realize that I'm going to need a new workout anime soon. While it certainly has its flaws, I don't think I'll ever find an anime as good as DBZ for working out. But, I thought you guys might have some ideas. What does the CR community think would be a good anime to keep you pumped up while working out?

I watch anime while working out on a stationary bike at the gym. I generally just watch whatever show I'm following at the time.
Though because I do work out in a public place, I have to put some thought into what I'm watching. I managed to watch the Durarara episode that had Celty's backstory at the gym, which would have been a bit awkward if anyone had paid attention to it.

No I don't really like to multi task when i'm watching anime. I like to get the full experience of the anime. I don't want to miss any important details/comedy.

If you can't do the sit-up you can't see the subtitles.

I do the stationary bike and anime combo at my gym sometimes. I like to listen to my music a lot tho too and since Kendrick's album just came out I've been occupied with that. If I go in the morning it's always old people and they'll stop and stare a little. I think they are more confused about what I am doing as opposed to what I am actually watching lol. Is it ironic that I watched a good amount of Yowamushi Pedal lol?

Recommendations? Hmm Yowamushi Pedal works really good especially if you're cycling. I agree with the guy who said Dragon Ball since you are watching DBZ. Continue on to GT even maybe? Those 2 together make up a ton of episodes.

I never considered this but it actually sounds like a great idea. A great anime would be Kuroko no Basuke, its such an intense and testosterone fuelling show it would be amazing to watch and exercise
