I really like black and white movies...well I guess just classic movies in general, but my favorite movie would have to be The Bicycle Thief.

Oh yeah, read it the first time in high school. I read it about once every year or so. And Night of the Living Dead how could I forget the second greatest (Dawn of the Dead being the first) Zombie Movie ever?

I watched that recently and pretty much the same reaction. Still liked it though

I didn't realise that the main fella was actually Pete from Twin peaks.

Honest Trailers is another great way to get links from actors appearing in older films who were not big then but are now and some who you never realised were in certain films. On a crazy scale Eraserhead dinged at 11/10

I haven't seen many probably in part because I don't watch many movies to begin with.

That said, I'm happy to watch good black and white movies. One I've seen is:

The 1935 American version of Crime and Punishment. There are other versions of this movie but I haven't seen those so I can't speak to them. But this movie, while perhaps a little over the top in terms of editing (and acting?), is very entertaining. (Maybe in part because it's a little over the top?) It's of course not 100% identical to the book, but the book is somewhat boring and the movie wasn't; in fact, I never quite finished the book perhaps because it was boring. (Good book, though.)
