Time is the same as existence in my mind. So long as reality exists, time exists. I believe there is no measurable flow of time. It is just there are we perceive it to be either slower or faster, depending on our state of mind.

Time and existence are the same and travel in a straight line, I think. We have separated the two but they are two sides of the same thing.

I perceive time to be a 'thing'. A physical tangible thing. Time can be directly effected or dilated by certain means (black holes, speeds approaching the speed of light). Also, spacetime is theorized to be a actual object called 'spacetime foam'. Bubbles of space time are extremely small (of the order 10^-35m). Much smaller than any other known particle. Physicists are working on detecting spacetime foam to better understand the universe.

are we talking about perception of time, memory of time, time as an actual physical effect, all different things.

I wonder. It's not like I was very specific, what with the title being perception of time and me directly asking how you perceive time.

the thing is that would be true had your questions stopped there,
but it didnt, the only way that i see for the past present and future to get involved is through memory, we do not perceive them directly, hence the confusion.

Most of the time, it goes slow, especially at work. Where as events or doing things you enjoy actually seems to speed up or end quickly.

It's just a matter of distraction or lack of. On keeping your mind occupied with something. It's why when you marathon something or play a game that really has a great story can easily a good chunk of the day away.

My body feels a lot older than it did say 3 years ago. I'd probably feel a lot better if I had a week or 2 off. Is hard to believe it's almost 2 years since I've started my current job. A lot has happened. Met a lot of people

Memory is just another facet of perception. But, to be honest....I don't really care about your answer anymore. You lost me. FOREVER.
