*&^% all that. I already have spiders that grow as big as a spread out hand around the house.
I don't want them inside too. Snakes also.. no no no. I'm not freaked out or anything just not
into that. They cool to look at, at other peoples houses.

She's absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, I am not allowed to own a tarantula inside my current house hold, because my family are wimps when it comes to arachnids and bugs, but once I get my own place I plan to by one. I do want to start off with something standard, and maybe own more in the future.

But, my friend has a Mexican Fireleg. He's the one who actually got my into tarantulas. I believe he named her Kiki. She's not known to be aggressive, she seems to actually love being held. My friend told me she's relaxed when he's holding her. But she has bitten me before because she gets pretty grumpy around molting times. That hurt like a bitch, lemme tell ya. I still love tarantula's. The bite hasn't traumatized me yet!

I'm extremely terrified of spiders, and if those were pictures of normal spiders I would have freaked out. Like a few other people said I'm not AS terrified of tarantulas. I would never hold one and if it wasn't in a cage I would RUN VERY FAR AWAY, but as long as they're in a cage I would probably be intrigued by it for a few minutes before starting to feel sick.

My friends took me to the zoo once and made me look at the spider exhibits and they said I literally turned green in the face, lol.

Need more information on the story. What happened after the bite? Because all I can imagine is being bitten, dropping the tarantula and it then being free to roam the house and impossible to catch again.
