Okay World of Warcrafts Creators (Blizzard Entertainment) are creating a new in game currency that you can buy with real currency essentially making it pay to win. Some people argue that this system will make the Auction House in game better and reward the people who spend hours farming for a rare thing to sell on the AH, but the majority just think that its going to not only ruin WoWs economy but destroy the challenge of WoW by making it Pay to win. I wanted to hear your thoughts on the matter. Feel Free to Comment even if you don't play wow i would love you hear from everyone. Thanks

Thats not quite the case. What it is, or rather last i had heard was they were going to set up in game currency to buy game time with. So people could essentially sell game time codes legitimately and people that are strapped for cash could just pay with in game currency.

As for ruining the economy it's been dead for years and eventually gold will stop being worth anything at all.

Seeing how blizz hasn't cared one bit for the player base since pre-cataclysm, it really doesn't matter. The game is a sinking ship and if they continue down the slope they've been on for the last few years only so many people will remain to continue playing. The game has been overrun with trolls, botters, DDOSing (but that seems to be everywhere these days) ect.

No, it's not pay to win. They're basically doing what a lot of MMO are doing, and doing successfully I might add. Guild Wars 2 has had this system from the jump, and I love it. It will actually stimulate the games economy. However, gold farmers will NOT be happy with this.
