Ever had friends over and you decided to take a nap around them? Have you ever talked in your sleep and your friends told you what happened when you woke up?

Something similar happened to me. I had my mates over and I was super tired so I took a nap on the sofa beside the sofa my friends and brother was sitting on. While they were watching Bear Grylls, I randomly said, "No, you have to be a sergeant for that..." Idk why lol.

Another incident happened with my sister. My brother and I were watching tv and my sister was sleeping on the sofa. She sat up, looked around a bit and said, "Pams" then lied down again. We just looked at each other and laughed our asses off.

So yeah, share your experiences

Omg. My boyfriend says I talk in my sleep alllll the time. He said I even laugh and cry, too. One time- I yelled in my sleep and woke myself up because it was so loud. It was the freakiest thing.

So, a couple of examples:
One time he said I yelled out, "YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM!!!" and started crying. He had to slap me awake lol. I remember that because I was pissed I was slapped!

Another time I just yelled out "OMG!" That one woke me up and I was like, wtf did I just yell that? He's like, yeah... lol. It's so weird.

I also have this phenominon happen where I know when I'm dreaming and I can control what happens in the dream. It's the coolest thing. I can do anything in my dream! But sometimes, they seem toooo real. I can fly, control things with my mind, create force fields, make anything appear with just wishing it! Honestly, I look forward to sleeping just so I can have fun in my dreams. ^____^

I sure have had an experience like that.

I passed out while watching TV with my brother. Anyways when I woke up he was laughing his ass off. I guess I said, "Damn it Isiac! Why did you go and do that?" Then I just passed out again haha. Isiac is my other brother that wasn't there at the time and I couldn't help but laugh as well.

Mmm, I mutter in my sleep a lot. If I had a excitable enough day (so excitable that I become exhausted) I might sleep talk about it.

When I was around 11-12 years old, I had apparently woken up my mom and asked her to fix my gameboy. I both sleep walked and sleep talked. I had a DS lite at the time too, so it made zero sense.

This happened when I was about 5 or 6 years old, shortly after moving here from Taiwan.

I don't remember any of this but my grandma told me all about it. She has told me several times over the years and her story has never changed and she has no reason to lie to me, making this pretty freaky.

My grandma was sleeping in her room and woke up during the middle of the night. She always has trouble sleeping and frequently awakens and is a light sleeper. There was a sound from the hallway. The dogs did not bark so she assumed it was me and went out to see why I was up at such a late hour.

She found me sprawled out in the hallway. When she checked to see if I was hurt or just asleep, she saw that my eyes were open and rolled up, showing just the whites. I was murmuring "water (in Taiwanese)" repeatedly and no matter what she did, I would not wake up. I eventually stopped mumbling and my eyes closed. I apparently did not wake up until the afternoon of the following day.

She always tells me about her dreams and, even to this day, probably 90% of her dreams involve bodies of water. Streams, seas, ponds, wells, puddles, etc. Scary.

I used to talk or even laugh in my sleep when I was younger. These days I talk and move around a lot more. My family and I joke that there are two of me. The awake one and the sleeping one. When I am asleep people can ask questions and I will answer but the answers will be whatever will make that person go away so I can continue sleeping in peace. They started having me sit up in bed and stuff to make sure I was awake until I started doing that in my sleep as well and would even wave people away claiming I was awake and everything. I never remember any of it and often got irritated when I missed out on things because of it.

When I was a kid, I used to command my half-brother while I was sleeping. Sometimes he didn't believe that I was asleep when I commanded him so he wasted a night telling me to stop talking. And he didn't even obey me, hmph! What kind of servant is one who doesn't even do what he is told to do?

I sleep pretty soundly, and as far as I know, or have been told, I dont snore or talk in my sleep. I did stay over a friends house once and nearly a full blown conversation with him, while he was passed out in his recliner. First he was mumbling, then i started responding and asking him questions and he would answer... was pretty hilarious at the time.

I've been told I've said some peculiar things. That I've said to someone that someone left them a message, and I've said, " be careful, he bites" and "you shouldn't eat that".. and other absurdities. for the love of me I don't know the context, it could be anything, something read or watched.
