One of my friends sleepwalked for the first time he knew of in his life last year.

He knew about it that time because he fell off a balcony. Three stories onto solid concrete, breaking his pelvis, both legs, and cracking the back of his skull.

He was bedridden for three months and is still in physical therapy.

that's horrible.

sleepwalking can be a serious and detrimental disease, to be honest. there are even cases of people "sleepraping" other people.

Yeah, those cases are rare and unusual and pretty interesting. Sucks for my friend, though. His girlfriend of 5 years broke up with him after he was no longer bedridden. He has a lot of metal in him now but he is able to walk reasonably well with a cane now. To be fair, his family was pretty crazy and was constantly pressuring them to get married. The hit to the head also changed him slightly. He's not crazy but he's not the same. Probably due to going through that whole experience. He's starting to go to church and gave up drinking and smoking. His family even moved his room down to the first floor for fear that he would sleepwalk again.

Apparently when I use to sleep over at my cousin's when I was a kid, I would always scream in the middle of the night.

Omg. My boyfriend says I talk in my sleep alllll the time. He said I even laugh and cry, too. One time- I yelled in my sleep and woke myself up because it was so loud. It was the freakiest thing.

So, a couple of examples:
One time he said I yelled out, "YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM!!!" and started crying. He had to slap me awake lol. I remember that because I was pissed I was slapped!

Another time I just yelled out "OMG!" That one woke me up and I was like, wtf did I just yell that? He's like, yeah... lol. It's so weird.

I also have this phenominon happen where I know when I'm dreaming and I can control what happens in the dream. It's the coolest thing. I can do anything in my dream! But sometimes, they seem toooo real. I can fly, control things with my mind, create force fields, make anything appear with just wishing it! Honestly, I look forward to sleeping just so I can have fun in my dreams. ^____^

Props for the guy sleeping in the same bed with you, I'd left you the moment you even try to ruin my sleeping time..

I had a friend who would sleepwalk. Along with talking. You could hold a conversation with her.

My brother does the same thing, but he's only ever sat up in bed and start dribbling non-sense.

I had a sleep over and everyone was supposed to sleep in the living room. I was the first to fall asleep and when I woke up they were all asleep upstairs in my room. They said I was saying weird things in my sleep so they left me downstairs.

Hahah, I'm just joking- not even lying, a little jealous that you could actually control your dreams.

So hard to tell sarcasm over the interwebsss D; Yeah, I'd say I'm like a superhero in my dreams (if that sounds lame, IDC!) It's great because when I'm having nightmares, I can turn them around to where I either A: wake myself up, or B: change something in the nightmare to make it not so nightmare-ish anymore. Catch my drift? That may be a little confusing lolsss. It's just something I was always able to do and didn't even know it was a "thing" until this thread. Did all kinnnnnds of reading on lucid dreaming. Crazy stuffffsssss.

Wow, your friends don't know how to have a good time

I was having a sleepover with my mates and one of them is a heavy sleeper. And when I mean heavy sleeper, HEEEEAAVY sleeper. You can turn on a lawnmower beside him and he wouldn't wake up (k, maybe that's a bit exaggerated but he's a really heavy sleeper). So anyways, he was the first one to fall asleep and we all decided to draw all over him, it was a shame we didn't take any pictures. It wasn't until the next morning he found out about the drawings. We were all eating breakfast normally and he had to take a morning piss. Needless to say, we heard some screaming in his washroom upstairs xD

I've been told i sometimes do but generally i think my snoring gets in the way. On the other hand a friend of mine tends to talk a lot in his sleep all the time. He wakes himself up quite often.

I don't sleep talk

I sleep pretty soundly, and as far as I know, or have been told, I dont snore or talk in my sleep. I did stay over a friends house once and nearly a full blown conversation with him, while he was passed out in his recliner. First he was mumbling, then i started responding and asking him questions and he would answer... was pretty hilarious at the time.

I think i'm turning into a pedo because for whatever reason, I keep staring at your avatar for long hours on end. Your avatar is fucken sexy. Even if it looks like a cross between the Rugrats and some old lady...
