I think PSYCHO-PASS is the most likely to work while being faithful to the original material, considering there was a Hollywood movie in the past with a very similar theme (I can't remember what it was called, but it operated using the idea that the police in some way could see into the future/predict specific crimes you were going to commit).

I tried to pick shows without many Anime tropes (Tsundere, pantyshot, fanservice, bath scenes, etc..) that would have a low cultural/otaku knowledge barrier. I also tried to pick shows that fit into the Style of Movies Hollywood tends to produce (Psychological thrillers/cop drama with Psycho-Pass, Drama with Space Brothers, Sci-fi with Aldnoah.Zero, action with Psycho-Pass again as well as Fullmetal Alchemist and Hellsing, which also brings in gore with Hellsing).

While I think these are great choices for adaptation, I don't think Hollywood would even adapt these properly, with maybe the exception of Psycho-Pass though they would probably butcher the characters (All american Actors). Hollywood has trouble with adapting Anime/Manga, and it always seems to be dumbed-down, or weird censorship.

I think Space Brothers, Aldnoah.Zero, and Fullmetal Alchemist, despite each having a great plot, wouldn't be made into anywhere near faithful adaptions in Hollywood. But they would do well if they were faithful to the source. The other two would probably be less Americanized but would still have some dumb choices made on how to adapt it.

Anyways, vote and state your Opinion!

EDIT: These choices are definitly more likely to work compared to most anime though, like Highschool DxD and Kancolle, and anything Ecchi or Moe...

personally, FMA.

has a story that a lot of people can relate to, mixed with some cool actions (that's most likely to be botched by hollywood xD).

Minority report was the name of that movie.

That said, Space Brothers for me.
Space Brothers already has this "This could be happening today" vibe and a really solid story which even if completely westernized could still be enjoyable.
A huge part of that story already takes place in the USA so it won't be that much out of place either.

Any Aldnoah.Zero adaptation will likely be directed by Michael (EXPLOSIONS!) Bay, I fear they will make any FMA adaptation like Dragonball Evolution (OMG The horror!) and Hellsing will become too Americanized.

Psycho-pass, as you said; They already did something similar. The press would crush them.

Honestly I have only seen two of the shows listed, but I don't know, hollywood, live action, just the thought scares me. So really, I'm not really sure. But from what I read, Space Brothers would work, seeing its the most grounded in reality like anime. The thing is most action films will be directed and may become boob and bullet movies. Which is pretty bad.
