Narimichi sure underwent some changes...

So the focus of this week's episode isn't actually Raikou or Seimei. However, I still find the story for this season to have an oddball pacing.

Oh I get it now. The darkness they were talking about still lies in Seimei.

Probably the best episode this week for the second season. Action picked up and there's no cheesy comedy that I found dull in this show. Rikou's Makai Armor gets a nice upgrade. And for the first time in awhile, I found the Horrors to be legitimately dangerous including the onomoyu professor's possession.

I think the show got better, definitely better than the first half. No more awkward comedy but instead we get a feel similar to the first season.

This week's episode goes to show that you can't judge books by their cover especially with the "Shining One" and his true visage. The whole beauty ideology got really weird though...

Plot is progressively moving forward again and that's a damn good thing.

Things are starting to go down. The eponymous crimson moon has made it's appearance.
And that bit of 'evil' Seimei in the op doesn't bode well.

I laughed when Kintoki said he'd explain later to Raikou while the girl just blushed. XD

They changed the opening to a much more awesome one that sounds closer to the ones the first Garo anime had.

While I'm a tad hesitant to say ''Oh it's finally starting to get good!'', I found the first half mediocre rather than outright bad (okay, sometimes it did get pretty bad) mostly because of how unfocused the plot was. Looks like after 14 episodes, the main plot is finally starting.

Overall, the reasons people have to turn into horrors are still absurd. Wanting to wear pretty clothes? Being salty because the soccer team rejected you? Growing a single grey hair?

But most importantly, from this very episode.

She's cool, and she somewhat reminds me of Lyn from Fire Emblem 7

.....Sigh.

Just when I thought the show got better, it got fillerish again. More Horror shenanigans but I wasn't sold into the storytelling at all this week.

Good episode this week.

Being Seimei really is suffering with that curse of hers...

And the Crimson Moon arc is really moving forward too. I like this development and got a bad feeling about next week especially with the cliffhanger. I'm pretty sure at this rate, Raikou and the others will really have to use all their powers to prevent whatever potential catastrophe it will bring.
