We need more threads made by drunk people. This is amusing.

You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.

Allergic to the sun?! Goodness.

Yeah. It's not as severe as it could be. I can tolerate anywhere from 5-30 minutes of light depending on time of day, time of year, my overall health, etc. If I don't get enough rest, I may get a faster reaction. Usually I can tell a reaction is happening when my skin begins to sting and turn red. Itchiness follows and worsens. If I insist on staying in the sunlight, more of my skin will change color and white, flat patches will appear. I eventually get hives and rashes that will appear in seemingly random areas on my body. Even if I'm only getting light on my face and neck, for instance, hives can appear on my chest, stomach, and arms. Sometimes behind my knees. I sometimes feel dizzy or have something similar to tunnel vision when I'm walking around in an open area and the sunlight is at its strongest, usually in the early afternoon.

Drunk posting? Awesome!

I haven't done that in quite a while.

Insofar as "day drinking" goes . . . As long as you aren't at work or driving, GO FOR IT!

Don't drink,so drunk posting is difficult. If you're of legal age, please feel free to act as my proxy and drink my share.I preferred Jim Beam out of the bottle while gazing in the direction of the ice cube trays in the freezer. It's cocktail hour somewhere in the world right now, enjoy.

Sake is my favorite drink. I dislike sake bombs and saketinis since it's only a good idea to make those with lower quality sake. I like it chilled and straight. Hot sake can be great with sushi and if you have sake that you opened for too long.

I'm kinda the same with vodka to be honest. Really good vodka is good on its own and it seems a waste to put it in other things.

I've never tried sake though. I probably should

Damn straight its near criminal to mix the nice stuff!

Sadly I rarely get away with spending that much on alcohol which my partner doesn't like. I swear our house is drowning in cream liqueurs that you can't have more than a few sips of without feeling sickly.

A taste for sake is an acquired one. You'll probably want to start with hot sake with food and sake bombs before trying the nice stuff at room temperature or chilled. There is one fairly solid sake that comes at a good price, though. It is Hakutsuru junmai ginjo. It's not the best sake ever but it's really decent for the price. I can usually get a bottle for $9-$12. It's good for pretty much everything and easy to drink

I tend to prefer my sake light, dry, and floral but I've started to appreciate the richer, sweeter, more full-bodied types lately, as well as shochu and hot water.

Oh, and Hakutsuru junmai ginjo is quite easy to find. I've seen it in all Japanese markets and most other Asian markets.

I used to make an Irish coffee every morning with cream liqueurs. I stopped because it started costing too much lol

It always tasted like Vermouth to me.

Always wanted to try Habushu. I think that would be the ultimate meta day-drink. A dead snake in the bottle is a good visual reminder.

Another drink I'd like to try is Kumis, which sounds like the most rewarding candidate for all-day-drinking at around 2% abv. Plus the fermentation process uses up the lactose in the milk, so you don't have to worry about the bacteria in your body getting to it.

I feel ya.

I used to be able to party straight through every weekend and be okay-ish for school on monday. Now I don't even have to get that drunk anymore to feel out of it the next day. Even just 3 beers will have me feeling slow in the morning. I don't get hangovers easily but that feeling of tiredness and grogginess is just unpleasant. The only drink that doesn't do that to me is sake.
