I've been mugged and I've been in fights over nothing. Whether you care or not, you might get assaulted. Or you might live a very domestic life in a very safe community, in which case I would only ask at the least to let the people whose reality is different from yours care.

It's a good idea to know where you stand before a random fight happens, because speaking from experience they aren't situations you want to try to resolve with yourself while they're happening.

I have headphones for a reason, it's to block people from talking to me unless i feel the need to talk to them. I don't know where you live that you got assaulted and mugged but i've never had that happen in my life. Unless a person has a gun, i won't go down without a fight.

I've noticed a lot of things about people online, is they tend to like to start drama, they post things that are either shock value or something they know will get people riled up. It seems no matter where you go people feel the need to discuss the most absurdly ridiculous topics in places that don't need to have them discussed. Hence the purpose of me commenting about who cares and pointless threads.

Im sorry that i don't care about a pointless topic as such as some idiot got himself beat up for not answering a question about whoever the person in question was about. I just don't see why its on this forum, like most of the other stupid topics they don't need to be discussed here. I might not be able to like it and people have the right so to speak to post the topic that i may or may not agree with but the same goes for me posting my my comments about their stupid subject. I left the world of online gaming for this specific reason because people can't learn to talk about things in the right time and place.

First off, if you didn't care very much you could just...not bothered posting and scrolled past and went about your day? Also wearing headphones 24/7 outside makes you seem unsocial, so yes it does block some people out, however others will likely think you're easier target.

And I'm sure OP just wanted to post what he found out that day, no conspiracy to start some epic drama lulz on a forum.

And the guy who got beat up, I'm not sure how you can call him an idiot, then again it seems you rage typed your entire post due to the amount of spelling errors, so maybe you're more sexually frustrated than the wannabe thug in the video?

If you're that sure it doesn't matter, at least figure out "whoever the person in question" is.

Michael Brown was that unarmed black kid who punched the white cop who shot him 35 feet away from the cop car.

So has anyone pointed out yet that this started when the guy asked to use the victim's cell phone? You know, that little factoid most US media is burying 4 or 5 paragraph down after a click bait "GUY BEAT UP OVER MICHAEL BROWN QUESTION" headline to rile up angry/scared white Americans?

Its a bunch of drunk 20 something shit heads that were looking to start shit regardless and got rebuffed by the guy when asked to use his cellphone. Do you seriously think they were looking for feedback on a complex issue of systematic racism in America? I mean cripes, look at the still from the security camera. Those are not the expressions of people enraged or concerned by systematic racism. They're the expressions of young, drunk self important shit heads that think they're invincible.

If you've ever been on public transit after 6p on a weekend you've seen these guys countless times. In every colour.

Agreed. I've pointed out in previous posts that the guy in red is drunk, that this is only news because the Michael Brown situation is still divisive and relevant, and that this attack was the venting of frustration through the flimsy pretext of Michael Brown, not part of some greater movement on behalf of Michael Brown.

But anyone who calls these kids stupid thugs and ends the conversation is forgetting that what is giving them that flimsy pretext is something that isn't dead and done.

Also, I've noted a few times that these kids weren't trying to smash this guy's head in, it was a surprise attack that ended as fast as it started. His glasses cut the bridge of his nose, and that was the worst of it as far as physical damage goes.

The youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URWzlADbdGM without the news has my favorite line at 2:09

"Daaaaaamn. They just knocked my dude's face off."

And in the end, what are you going to do, go ask a 40 year old man who took a light beating if he's ok? What if he's crying? Nobody wants to embarrass a guy like that.

Calling it like it is: that punk in the red shirt is a racist piece of junk. So are his buddies that threw in a few punches. All those people who did nothing but smile and laugh are not winners, either.

I hate it when white people in America are racists. But right there, there was several black racists there, and that is bullshit too, because racism is bullshit. Period.

Really, they wanted to beat up a white person. Like someone in this thread said, they probably talked about it before the incident and said something like "We ought to ask a white person how they feel about the Michael Brown incident, and then find any reason to dislike their answer and then start beating on them".

I doubt there was even that much thought put into this.

I'm not going to agree that "oh, that guy was just drunk and rowdy". I think he is legitimately a racist and prejudiced against white people. We see so much horseshit from white racists in America, but we have to remind ourselves, a lot of blacks in America are racist, too.

It is very possible they didn't. But I could see them discussing it for ha-has at some point, and then that guy in the red shirt actually went and did it one day.

lly frustrated than the wannabe thug in the video?[/quote

No, i never said that this topic was specifically for "lulz" as you so put it or for trolling but a good amount of the threads on here are about things people are for sure bound to get into drama debates over.

Hmm raging thats an interesting one, its funny whenever someone doesn't agree with something they consider it raging.

As for when going outside i choose music because well i don't talk to random people on the street. I have no use for listening to noise like leaf blowers, cars, and other annoying noises so if thats anti social then well i guess then anyone who listens to music outside is "anti-social".

Anyhow, I'm going to go back to what this site was really meant for enjoying anime and anime related things. Don't worry if you decide to quote me again ill make sure not to reply to ruffle your pretty little feathers anymore.

Racism has never left my viewpoint. I took an African American studies course my freshman year of college, it was taught by three white men. But the one thing they knew for certain was that racism is ingrained and unavoidable, and we have to look deeper, because being able to tell black from white at a glance is the grounds for racism in its most innocuous form.

So it's better to look at the culture, and I'm not certain these young black men haven't been severely hassled by middle aged white men for no legitimate reason, and I don't consider young drunk people smart enough to know how to deal with these frustrations.

Whether it's racist profiling or not (which I did call it racist profiling in an earlier post), what would make these men so violently racist?
