Um this is my essay i have to do for my world history but i finished it already but i just want your opinion but the next president of the U.S will face many problems from foreign countries especially the muslim country do you think the people of America should be concern with this why or why not?

for the essay I said no since most people don't really pay attention to the news as much and most people think history is boring and don't really care but they don't care what will happen in the future. well basically i just said that they shouldn't care at all....

Well didn't you at least type it on the computer and save it? At least paste it to give this thread more content... it'd also would've been nice if you capitalized the title correctly. Spell a title, as you would for an English Exam. Incorrect capitalizations on your title will destroy the ability for some to take you seriously, so next time, please capitalize correctly...

The US should care about other countries, they can pose a huge threat to humanity. No offense, but some Muslim people (god damn it I said some people.. SOME) are just out right crazy... They're completely coo-coo in other regions of the earth, and it's a huge problem imo. People wanting to kill a woman for naming a teddy bear, Muhammad? Which was from a STUDENT's name, not the god's? The bitch was crazy to give it that name, but for them to want her dead... something is fucked up right there.

I think the US , (President should decide that we ), should stop playing Big Brother for a few years and get it's own problems straightened out before they go out ruining other countries. I mean whats the point in helping another country if you can't help yourself? I mean my friends mom flipped when he enlisted in the marines to go to Iraq. He said "He wanted to help the Iraqis establish government", her reply ," Why don't you become a lawyer and help ours?"... Well, he's already there and blah blah blah. So in a way, yes I believe the people should be concerned but they more than likely won't since they don't pay attention to anything that doesn't concern American Idol and Britney Spears/

Actually.. I agree with this now. But I think we should finish with Iraq first, at least. I'd feel bad if we ditched them mid way through.. I mean come on now..

Well from what I've heard we haven't even started. NONE of our goals have been achieved. We won't be leaving anytime soon anyway, there's too much invested in it and most people don't even know that they have established permanent bases in Iraq. If anything we won't even be able to start leaving till 2018.

Yes, but as time goes by Al Queda (sp?) will slowly weaken, as it looks like it's weakened a whole hell of a lot now. Military will stop pulling out, and it'll stop being such a big deal.. and then people can actually spend time on helping this country. Leaving midway is the dumbest idea ever, you've got other countries involved by your actions.. and... you're going to pull out? What the fuck is that? Stick with it.

We're doing horrible. Don't believe what you hear on the news for shit, talk to someone that's actually there. I have alot of friends there right now, and they tell me they're anything but weaker. They have the money, they have manpower, just because we have the bomb doesn't make much of a difference. The news always reports on how the Al Queda are losing but seeing as how the Conservatives own 90% of the media it's usually just bullshit. 3 of my friends in Finland get more accurate news that we do, and alot of it is STILL Bullshit. Yeah, it's kind of too late to pull out but it's not a stupid idea. Did you know that some of the "police" that we supplied guns to keep order ended up killing some of our men? The plan basically backfired... But not once did they put that on the news. I had to hear that from my friend thats there. I think it's about 2 people die a day there, but they hardly report on casualties. I dunno, it's worth a look into, talk to some soldiers that were there etc, You'll learn alot that you never would have from watching CNN or checking certain websites.

We do have to solve our internal affairs within the government and it's legal stance pretty soon. Spending time and resources on it might undoubtedly set us back a few years in economy, military, and international relations. But we need to do it before it gets even later. If we do sort things out, we will be in a much better position to solve our other issues.

The problems we have are going to be obstacles in beginning this though. Military involvement in Iraq, economic rivalry with China, relations with the EU and Middle-east, Korean War, social disillusionment of our government, social/cultural tension, national debt, etc. We have so much going on as a superpower at a crossroads. Was it Bush's fault? He could've handled some situations a lot better; but I think it's natural for any nation to experience hard times. We couldn't have lived comfortably and without major issues forever.

Pesh!! Well if McCain becomes president, we can kiss Iran good bye. that guy has wet dreams about bombing Iran ... FOR NO REASON! And wtf have Muslim countries done to the USA or any one else? I think the next president, needs to TURN OFF FOX NEWS and read some books .... are so called "Allies" hate our guts! Have you gone to Europe as an American? I HAVE! It wasnt a good experience, I tried not to show my passport and shit any where because it seemed they didnt treat me well.

And wtf is up with these damn student loans I have to pay back here in the states?? Could we like spend 0.001% less money on the war, and give some to the student in USA so we can study with ease???

So to answer your question, the next president needs to pay more attention in the home land! create jobs! Spend money here! And stop taking our freedoms away (Patriot Act any one?)

from the view of someone from the uk, u guys really need to sort ur own country out. the general view of americans are nosy little sh*ts that can;t keep their noses outta other people's business. now i know thats not true, coz u can't judge an entire nation on one stereotype, but people dont like the americans as a country. it tries to act as a world police, yet screws every country up as it goes.

but personally, i think that america has been given a bad name coz of the actions of GW bush. the next president has to not do anything he did, and they'l look amazing, no matter what they do

I was just about to say something like that. They would need to be worried about getting assassinated by some extremist. But that's kind of off topic, so I'll get back on track. Yes it's an important issue, but we do have to fix some problems in the States before diving into the Middle East. No, we shouldn't ignore it completely, but we should improve ourselves. And hate to seem meticulous, but we should also be concerned with students who can't type with proper English. It was painful reading that first post.
