I listen to alot of music from harsh noise to twee pop, Indian Raga to African drum circles, and while theirs genres I dont like(metal, jazz) I understand that its my fault, not all music is for me but I understand there appeal. I really really am perplexed by what people see in nightcore. I get bumping up or down the pitch of something can sound cool but the songs too me are so generic that the pitch shift changes nothing. All I hear is Alvin and the chipmunks.

I know alot of people on this board enjoy nightcore so could you please explain what you personally find its appeal is to you?

nightcore is only good, if done good. bad nightcore in my opinion is just speeding up the soundtrack. like seriously, add a beat or something

Well what constitutes as good nightcore for you? Got any examples.

Sorry I kind of changed my mind I decided to cut out the time I was gonna spend relistening to the new Kendrick front to back another time and am gonna spend it listening to the mix you provided.

About the song you posted some of it felt kinda weird especially in the beginning when the singer was trilling which sounds really weird high pitched. To be honest I really dont think I would like the original song from what it sounds like.

I listened to the entire thing. There were some moments I like but im not the biggest EDM fan and the music is heavily entrenched in that genre. Ehh personal preference I guess. I found the lyrics to be pretty bad though.

Nightcore's not exactly my cup of tea, but I still think it's pretty awesome. This is because of the amount they pump the bass and speed up the song. This, to me, makes pretty much any song danceable, but one thing is I've noticed about listening to nightcore songs is once you go nightcore, you can't go back. Like, if you listen to a song's nightcore version and then try to listen to the original, the original will just sound way too slow. That's part of the reason why I don't listen to nightcore regularly. Also because I just never got into it, and I don't think I will. Oh well.
