how is that naive compared to the topic starter post?

what I meant is that it's different for every individual person.. either being male or female can be a real pain - that's what I meant

I thin they're referring to the "that's why some guys have a sex change" part. The actual reason for that is usually (always??) a condition known as gender dysphoria or Gender identity disorder. not because they think being a girl is any better.

for more information on this condition here are two web pages.

I was being frivolous with my opinion (I aplogize about that). I just wanted to point out that male is not the ultimate sex genre.

Well, I don't miss the thought of bleeding out of my penis, that's for sure.

I'm not a woman, but I think women have it much tougher than men.

Why do you think that?

(and I'm not talking about discrimination / glass ceilings, stuff like that- but the everyday / almost everyday / monthly stuff that makes being a woman a general pain in the @$$)

I think he means menstrual cycles. Then again, it could also be anal sex... but I don't know of anyone that, erm, every month, you know?

I think that if you grow up a girl then you don't really notice it.... because it has always been that way. Plus its not that bad

Well, yeah, I'm guessing that was probably the monthly part of the question, but it sounded like there was more than that. Frankly, I've always been kinda happy to not have to shave my face everyday, as so many man I've known seem inclined to do.

Your right, its only because you grew up with it... but let me list a few things for you

1.Unattended drinks at parties/clubs
2.Dark ANYTHING alone (alleys, roads, buildings, bus stops)
3."Is there a man I can talk to?"
4."She's probably just on her period"
5."You had sex? SLUT!"
6."You're a bit of a skank, look how much skin your showing"
7."You're a bit of a prude, loosen up"
8."WTF we have been friends for like 2 weeks and everythings awesome. SO WHY WONT YOU GO OUT WITH ME?"

etc etc etc

Unique challenges to each gender.

Maybe he means...

...

I don't know. Is applying makeup painful? Maybe tampons? Though, if there is pain involved with tampons, I would assume you're doing it wrong...

As for male grooming... of the face... I do it once a week, for the record. It's a bother, shaving everyday.

Yes. Trying to pee standing up is so difficult. I miss 7 times out of 10. The struggle is real.

I was thinking more of the lines of, never ever ever be alone in a room with a drunk girl. Always have witnesses.

Yes, but think about how much of a pain being a guy is. Women can wear men's clothes without being judged, by trying going out in a skirt or dress as a man and suddenly you're "weird".

Really, though, I find that women have far better clothes than men, and while I'm not saying I wish I was a woman solely for the clothes, I'm not not saying it...
